"Super loud! Muy ruido!"
So many noise problem! I'm at the hotel now and just had a terrible night's sleep. Loud motor sounds that caused the management to have to shut off my toilet at midnight...yes, I have no toilet now! I've never encountered a toilet that goes haywire and sounds like an alarm. Super loud street noise despite assurance from front desk that it would be quiet. Obnoxious refrigerator five feet from bed. Street noise at 6:30 am that woke me up and wouldn't allow me to get back to sleep. Wearing noise cancelling headphones in room and yet it's still so loud that I can't sleep!! Housecleaner forgot to clear alarm so it went off at 6:30 am! Then housecleaner came into the room at 7:30 and walked into the room and woke me up! A half dozen serious noise problems, not to mention the fact that the "blackout shades" don't block a lot of the light. Avoid if you want to sleep!
"Very expensive for what you get"
The hotel is nice, well located, but is really expensive compare to other nice hotels in the area, we choose it because we wanted something outstanding, so we decided to pay the premium price, it was so disappointed. First morning not hot water in the shower, Bogota is a cold city, we called front desk, they said the hotel was quite empty so they decided to turn off water pumps. Breakfast was pretty poor, bad served, out of juice, we ask for more, never got it, just one waitress, soooo slow, quite bad experience. Once again it has the price of a A League Hotel, you get a below average experience. It seems the built a nice building and nice rooms, but they now nothing about hospitality business.
"Pretty Expensive for that You Get"
We stayed for three nights, long weekend, and for the price we pay, the second more expensive in the city, after J.W Marriott, we did NOT have the experience We were expecting, The shower water was more cold than warm, in a cold city is not nice, We called the front desk and the told us, that because, the hotel was almost empty they had lowered the water pressure, so the water was cold and the shower was a tiny water run. The breakfast realy poor and bad served. I would never go back. It is a nice building, well located, but the hotel experience is poor, really poor. They are in the business of nice bulding, NOT amazing experience.
"Great location clean and friendly staff"
My husband and I relocated to Colombia for his work. We stayed at Cabrera for nearly 3 months. It was home away from home Australia. Cabrera hotel is conveniently located in Zona T full of cafes, bars shopping centre's and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and staff are wonderful! We highly recommend this hotel if you visit Bogota for business or leasure.
"Fantastic hotel in great location"
I was genuinely surprised at how fantastic this hotel was. I chose Cabrera Imperial because of its location and price compared to other properties in the area. I emailed prior to my arrival to let them know I'd be needing a late check-in. They responded immediately and helped set up an airport transfer. I was greeted at the hotel by a very professional and warm staff. When I entered my room, I was truly in shock. It was one of the biggest most well appointed rooms I have stayed in around Latin America. The breakfast was delicious, the fitness center was small, but modern, and they capped off my amazing stay with a complimentary in room 15 minute massage. I highly, highly recommend this hotel.
