"Private neighborhood and warming attention"
Located on a private complex, pichilingue, the hotel owns a private beach with a beautiful view and soft sand. The sea was extremely calm and the water was traslucid. Delicious if you like to swim at the sea. With 3 pools and several places to tan, you can enjoy outdoors relaxed and loose. Rooms are very comfortable with terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Puerto Marques bay. Restaurants are nice specially the one near to the beach.
"Room was very run down, beach was very dirty on January 1st because of the fireworks, pools and restaurants are good"
We were a family of five, three adults and two children, ages 1 and 3. We were supposedly "upgraded" to a suite different from the one reserved which was a room de luxe. The suite was at the bottom floor, end of the hall, with a terrible smell of humidity, no beach view, only a lot of vegetation which brought in the room flies and cockroaches, among others, we asked for a better option but the personnel only offered to aromatize the room which was ok for a couple of hours, but then the smell of humidity was again very strong, our cloth caught this smell, the sheets also. Another point is the beach, on January 1st it was dirty of all the fireworks, the guests started cleaning up because there was nobody to do this job, only when we requested it, after 12 noon, personnel was sent to clean the beach. In general, the hotel is clean, the pools are very nice and the food although expensive, was quite good. I feel that some things should be complimentary, for example, the bottled water.
A great advantage to this hotel is that it seems that all of the rooms have an excellent view of the bay. The rooms are big and comfortable but it can certainly needs to be upgraded as it is very outdated. Our stay there was nice Wednesday-Friday as the pools, beach and pool bars were enjoyable. Coming Saturday the hotel was FULL of kids making it less enjoyable for adults. The buffet breakfast was great offering lots of different dishes. The private beach, although a bit small, very pleasant. The staff was very courteous and friendly.
"Went Back and Found . . . . ."
I went back and found that the management is almost non existent, when I first came to my room it smelled so bad I had to immediately exit the room, they had cleaned the drains and all the "sh . ." they sucked out had been left in a plastic bag in the room, they had to change the room since everything got impregnated with the smell. Furniture is old, very, except for breakfast food is mediocre and very expensive for what it is, the manager is nowhere to be seen except for placidly having breakfast and reading the newspaper. But if there is something to be said, the waiters at the La Huerta cafeteria are the best, their service and desire to please the visitors is second to none, RICARDO, LUIS MIGUEL and JOSE MANUEL are EXCELLENT!!!!! They make up for a lot of the shortcomings.
"Very nice! "
While not beeing the savest city, Acapulco has shown us the most beautiful side. Beeing on tour over daytime, we never felt insecure. The hotel was beside the mainspot, but not far away from the center by car. It was very clean, silent, quite empty (we enjoyed it having the pool and the beach for us alone) and great meal.
