"Perfect for our overnight stay!"
Stacy was very helpful in booking the perfect room for us on an almost sold out weekend! When we got into town, our room wasn't ready so Jordan took our bags at the curbside so we could get to our next destination on time. We checked in much later, got our bags and our room was clean and restful... most comfortable bed and pillows ever and even though there was a wedding reception on the roof... we didn't hear any noise in our room. We will be back. Great vibe, friendly staff... it's a happy place.
"Beautiful Gen in the Heart of Santa Barbara"
My wife and I stayed at the beautiful Canary Hotel for a few days in Mid-September. From the welcome wine at check-in, the efficient staff at the front desk, the beautiful rooms and wonderful rooftop pool and patio, everything was superb.
"A quirky hotel with great staff and a really good pool"
We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was very good. We ate here for lunch on our arrival day and the food was good. They have a superb pool on the roof with spectacular views. the standard Kimpton "wine tasting" session each evening was a great way to prepare for dinner! The WiFi was a good speed and having joined the loyalty programme, was free. The valet parking was very efficient and helpful. If we were ever back in Santa Barbara, we would definitely stay here again.
"Beautiful Santa Barbara boutique Hotel "
This hotel is conveniently located to State St which is full of great shopping and restaurants. The hotel has 96 rooms. Built in 2002. It is 6 stories with a rooftop pool and lounging area. The room I had 507 has a balcony opening to the street. The rooms have hard wood floors. The bed was very comfortable and rooms spacious bathrooms were large and a great shower. Great HD plasma TV. Maids turn down your bed and you have comp wine in the evening which is typical of Kimpton chain.
Many thanks to Jessica and the other Canaries for an excellent stay. I only stayed overnight but the treatment I received was stellar.i was celebrating a special occasion (cancer free after 11 months!) - Jessica showed such thoughtfulness by sending champagne and sweets to my room upon arrival. After a couple of hours, the staff sent me flowers. I was gobsmacked, to say the least. The entire staff offered tremendous customer service. I'm already planning to return. The room and bathroom amenities were lovely. The bed was super comfortable. I love the coffee bar in the morning and wine hour in the evening. I'm a fan of this hotel!
