"Beautiful Hotel, Great Views, Good Service"
We stayed at the Caribe Hilton for after our cruise. We had heard it was great place, private beach, lots of pools with sweet views. Well, it did not disappoint. First off, the staff was super honest about things to do and where to go. I want to give a shout out to Mariela Disle. She was amazing. Giving us great tips for food, fun and information about the city of San Juan. Mariela really made sure we were happy with all the activities and amenities. The reason why I gave it only four stars. Down side, food was very expensive as well as drinks at the hotel. I would recommend going else where for food, would've liked it if it had more authentic food to reflect the city. Also the breakfast selection was not great, although you do have a Starbucks but 20 dollars a person for breakfast is a little much. Otherwise, it was wonderful. Great hotel!
"Amazing stay at Caribe Hilton"
I have stayed week at Caribe Hilton. The view from the 16th floor of the tower is incredible. I have enjoyed watching the sun rising many mornings. Great courteous staff. The pool is amazing as well as the Pina Coladas at the Atlantico Bar. Centerally located to Condado and Old San Juan. The vibe was incredible salsa music through out the pool area. Incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. I will definitely return to enjoy the resort.
"Paradise with a view"
Although we only stayed for 1 evening in this hotel there was so many things to see and do. We ate dinner in the Italian Restaurant and the service was great and the food was very tasty.(I just didn't understand why they charged for the bread that they brought to the table while we were waiting for our meals. We didn't ask for it or order it, but then they charged us.) The front desk staff at check in were nice but nothing to remember and didn't make suggestions or direct on where to go. The facilities are lovely and the beach and pool is where we spent most of our time. We were fortunate enough to speak to people from all around the world that were staying there. Overall great.
Hotel amenities are just OK, but the room is terrible. Disgusting carpet and furniture, extremely dirty. We ended up going to the nearest Walmart and buying cleaning products and a vacuum to clean the room ourselves. Never going back to this hotel, never suggesting it to anyone I know
The hotel is located in a quiet area with few options to eat but beautiful views. People are nice, the hotel is clean and the breakfast is probably the best, especially when included with your rate. I love the fact that it is right next to the new running/bicycling route that takes you all the way to El Morro. Overall my experience was great, except for the bed being too hard.
