"Rooms great, restaurant poor"
On previous occasions I stayed in another hotel in Blanchardstown, but based on my husbands and sons very positive experience when staying for a few days last July, I decided to stay for a night with my two girls . We were offered a very competitive rate for 1 nights dinner and B&B. We sat down for dinner at 7.10 and at 8.30 the starters still hadn't arrived. The manager was very apologetic and offered some drinks, which was small consolation to kids who were starved. The food when it finally arrived was edible but not worth waiting that long for. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and better than expected . The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. On check out I asked about sandwiches for the kids. The receptionist explained that on Sunday's ,only a carvery was available in the restaurant. Another receptionist intervened ,went to check with the kitchen and returned offering soup and sandwiches made to order . She even gave me a price for each . Funnily enough when I went to order sandwiches in the restaurant the waitress knew nothing about it ! I went out to the reception to find my friend but alas she was no where to be found. So we left.To be fair to the hotel our dinner was taken off the bill. The hotel has a great location close to the NAC but the service in the restaurant needs improving .
"Good as always"
Having stayed at this hotel more than once in the past it is the perfect location for my work. The staff are always helpful and the guys in the bar even mentioned my last visit with a prompt! Something that makes you feel at home. Rooms are clean, it has everything you need.
"Ripping off travellers from abroad "
The standard of your meal has never been consistent and it ranged from quite good to awful . What is consistant though is that is always over priced. Obvious that it caters only to the poor airport vacationers market. I.e they don't have to rely on any repeat business or improve on standards. I live less than a mile from here and can safely say I don't know any one from the community/area that go to this hotel for food. So unless you are on a stop over staying in this hotel , I would still advise to go anywhere elsewhere in Blanchardstown for better fare. Or even a Ryanair sandwich might be better. Depending on what day it is.
On arrival we where Greeted by very friendly staff, the hotel is modern and very nice atmosphere in the bar the bedrooms are really good would recommend, definitely value for money,,,would like to return in the future, thanks
The hotel has great rooms that are comfortable and spacious, a 24 hour gym and very nice breakfast as well as room service. The staff are very friendly and courteous. There is also plenty of parking. It would be good if there was a loyalty scheme. Very good.
