"The best resort in Ceara!"
Amazing resort with beautiful view. We also loved the decor. Staff and amenities are great. Food is delicious in the all restaurants. We went for just 2 days only but I wish we had stayed longer. Used the spa services , it is just amazing, especially the massage for couples.
"Relaxing place (in the middle of nowhere)"
While arriving at the Carmel resort, you worry a little. It is in the middle of nowhere and the surrounding area is not really appealing (Papers everywhere). Then you enter in a hidden property and it is a kind of heaven. Huge beautiful swimming pool with a pool bar, amazing sea view...This hotel is very nice. The decoration has an elegant contemporary style. Very confortable bedrooms with King size beds. Bathrooms could be a little bit more sophisticated but it is fine. L'Occitane beauty products renewed everyday. The service of the (only one) restaurant is very good, sometimes slow but it can be forgiven easily. They are all so friendly and helpful. And the food is good. Good service around the pool as well. Nice inside tennis court and gym. The SPA should be ameliorated in order to offer more services (only massages which are so so). it's a very calm place (not crowded of customers when we were there), relaxing and charming to stay for a break in the northeast or a week with your family (or lover). Nothing really exciting around it.
"Great relaxing stay"
While the resort is not luxurious, it is elegant and the facilities are very comfortable. Service is certainly not of an international 5-star hotel standard, but the hotel provides everything needed and the friendliness of the staff makes up for it. The bungalow room was a great choice with our baby because of the private pool and jacuzzi. It is also large (but is one bedroom) and has a seating area. Location is fantastic directly on a secluded and calm beach and the views are fantastic. There is nowhere you can actually go walking out of the resort or any dining options nearby. Since you basically have to eat all your meals at the resort, my only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the food and work with some daily suggestions to change the routine for those staying more than a few nights.
Paradise in northeast Brazil... Friendly personal and amazing food. Typical brazilian food and nice beaches in front of the resort. Just need to offer beach services and maybe some bed at the beach (not only around the pool)... Overall would definitely recommend
"Beautiful resort with amazing service!"
This resort is world-class. The grounds are gorgeous. The large pool is perfect for hanging out in all day. And the rooms are spacious and clean. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! The staff truly understands service. The folks at the front desk speak English. Many of the staff at the bar and elsewhere do not, but if you're willing to learn a few words of Portuguese (like how to say "Beer, please), you won't have any trouble with this. Although we were the only Americans at the resort, many other patrons spoke English and were able to help with translation as well. If you are looking for an authentic Brazilian location with the beauty and luxury of the finest resorts in the world, look no further! The only downfall regarding the location is that when traveling from far away, it's a bit of a trek to get here, so stay a night in Fortaleza if you fly in late.
