"Very comfortable, central hotel"
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 separate stays at Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores. Great location, lovely, clean rooms and very efficient service. However, just curious as to how the first 2 nights we stayed in room 1711 - great views - and had a good choice of English tv channels and yet 2 weeks later were allocated room 1611 - directly below previous room - and virtually nothing at all in English on the tv which was disappointing as we had paid 45 USD to keep the room until 1800hrs as we had a very late flight home and were hoping to relax and watch a movie 😾. Would have given 5 stars other than this and the very high cost of in room wifi and water. (Large bottle of water can be purchased from the small shop directly across the street for only 2 Soles as the hotel charge 10 Soles for a smaller bottle.) I did appreciate the iron and ironing board in the room. The only hotel thoughout our very extensive trip in Peru to provide this.
We stayed at 2 of the Case Andina hotels and both were excellant . here were no issues at all. I would definitely stay at these hotels again. They were located in great areas and we could easily walk to most locations in town.
"Pleasant short stay"
Nice upscale hotel in one Lima's better districts. Shops and the promenade were all within a short walk. The hotel itself is very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect and the staff were always pleased to help. Stayed at a couple of other Casa Andina hotels in Cuzco and the Sacred Valley and they were of the same high standard.
"Comfortable but problems with extras charges"
The hotel is comfortably located in Miraflores borough and within walking distances from restaurants and bars. The rooms are big and clean, with the usual amenities. While the building is old, it was completely renovated and, apart from the lobby, the rooms itself do not look outdated. Breakfast is regular and with few local options but nothing really spectacular. My significant complain was the charge during checkout for internet access while EXPLICITLY I was informed that when you connect there would be a statement mentioning the cost of S.35,00 but that would not be charged. This was clearly mentioned and I reinforced that question confirming it during checkin - in fact the hotel advertises free internet in its home page very clearly. I really wonder why they tried to charge me and this was very disturbing as I had to argue for a few minutes against that charge (in fact, many of my colleagues paid for it). This really puts the hotel down and I would not hassle with this again as there are so many other options available nearby with much better policies. Charging for internet at this age is just absurd and you should avoid these types of hotel.
"An excellent location for Lima"
This modern and very well appointed hotel is situated in a great location within Lima. Small but excellent restaurants are very close by as well several shops and and local Indian market are just a few blocs away. To be noted: the very attentionate staff and the amazing breakfast.
