"Just a beautiful, relaxing place with lovely staff!"
We booked this a few days before arriving, while already on Mallorca. What a treat!! It is about a 40-45 minute drive from Palma & the airport into the countryside. The estate is beautiful, rustic, quiet. The food is out of this world. The staff are really wonderful. The pools are excellent. It's a beautiful place to relax. Everyone was nice. We loved our waiters. We loved the front desk staff. I had to depart much earlier than my friend, and they had prepared a bag with breakfast and a sandwich for my travel back to the US. So nice. There's no nickel and dining you like you find elsewhere in Mallorca - this place is beautiful, relaxing, with excellent food and wines. Use the spa, take a swim, play some tennis - it was all wonderful and included. Would return again and again. This hotel's wi-fi was the best of the three places we stayed on the island, even though it was the most remote. No complaints, only one small possible improvement - there is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms (conditioner being an odd thing anyway in Spain). IMO, both should be provided at that price, but it's a small thing. Thanks for the wonderful break!
The hotel is not so special as you would expect from the price. Coming from the Park Hyatt it feels realy back to basic. Beds are uncomfortably hard, airco capacity is not enough to cool the room. Breakfast is far from tasteful. Croissants are not even looking and tasting as they should. The gym offered on the website is a farce. You have to book this room in advance otherwise you can not do a work out. Interior of the room is outdated. WiFi functions in the room
"Stunning building, great service, small area for improvement"
Chose this location for 2 nights for the start of our Mallorcan holiday. The setting is lovely, tasteful conversion of what had originally been a convent. Lovely architecture inside and out. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was also a good size. We had a lovely terrace with sun loungers and coffee table and chairs, looking over a large lawn. We had dinner on the Monday night- a BBQ including wine and dessert for 50euros each. It was a lovely setting near the main pool. Breakfast was a nice buffet and plentiful. And on the morning of my wife's birthday we were given a lovely cake with a candle. The nearest beach is C'an Picafort, 5 mins drive away, but the two pools are in nice settings. Really loved this hotel and want to give it 4.5. The only criticism was the lack of free drinking water. 6euros per bottle in the room. Luckily there are plenty of supermarkets in C'an Picafort. However I would gladly stay here again.
We came to celebrate a wedding and we loved every moment of our stay. Wonderful place. Old 13th century building refurbished with taste, excellent food, mostly organic, including the wine. Facilities are flawless. We were really impressed!
"A special place"
We stayed here for 2 nights in October Fairly quiet as it was going off season but the welcome and service was friendly but low key and made for a very enjoyable stay. The reception bar and restaurant staff were all charming and helpful and the Accomodation was wonderfully comfortable. The dinner menu is nicely varied and well executed. I would definitely come here again
