Sited within a prime location on 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan, near the bustle of Times Square, world class shopping experiences of Fifth and Madison Avenues, and the bright lights of New York's theater district.
"Good hotel, don't pay for breakfast"
First, I didn't let breakfast impact my hotel review since it's actually a separate restaurant (Butter). Breakfast was ok, but not worth paying for. We got it free as part of a package and it was fine and convenient for that, but I wouldn't pay for it. The rooms are good, the location is decent. If you want a hotel that has views of Times Square this isn't it. If you want something close to times square but away from the action and noise, this could be a good hotel for you. Service was good, we got a free upgrade since they had availability and were willing to give us free late check out if needed as well.
The hotel is in a fantastic location. A little disappointed at the start as when we arrived rooms Was not ready that was fine left our cases and went straight out was told to go back at 3,we arrived. Back and only one of our rooms was ready the other was waiting to be inspected after cleaning.... we then had to wait another 2 hours before the other room was ready. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable however the food was expensive so better to find a diner much cheaper. Overall had a great weekend
"Location, location, location"
Great place to stay. Comfortable rooms, nice staff, and a great location. For the price (we had a travelzoo voucher), we felt very close to the action without being in the middle of all the madness of Times Square. Short walks or cab rides easily got us where we needed to be. The hotel has all the amenities you would want and a staff that aims to please. The room was fairly small but clean and bright and quiet. The only area that needs attention is the breakfast served at the Butter restaurant downstairs. The selection was limited and really not well presented or maintained. The attendant needs to pay a little more attention to the food and drink (cold coffee, no toaster one morning) and spend less time on his phone. Overall would recommend the hotel and we would return.
"What a wonderful stay!"
My wife, who often goes on business trips, stayed at the Cassa Hotel for 4 nights. She arrived to NY early morning after a long flight knowing she will not be able to check-in before noon. What a pleasant surprise she had when she arrived to the hotel at 7am met by Andrew who was so sympathetic and welcoming and arranged a room for her straight away - this is unique for a NY hotel - and Adam who helped her to her room to show her around. The staff was kind and helpful throughout the stay, The room, a Standard Single Room, small, but sufficient for one person: Very clean, modern decor, beautiful spotlessly clean bathroom, snow white beddings and towels, even a very soft bathrobe. Right in the center of NY within walking distance from anything, we shall definitly stay there again when visiting NY.
We enjoyed staying at this hotel greatly! It was in a central location (midtown), within walking distance to Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, Rockefeller Center, and so much more! The hotel itself was very pleasant-clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The decor was chic and modern, but not pretentious. The room was all we hoped for- comfortable bed, great shower, good sized bathroom, (small) closet, and refrigerator. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating, letting us check in a bit early. We also appreciated that they kept our bags secure (after we checked out) until it was time to for us depart. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at Cassa and hope to return! Thank you to Jermaine and all the staff who assisted us.
