Sited within a prime location on 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan, near the bustle of Times Square, world class shopping experiences of Fifth and Madison Avenues, and the bright lights of New York's theater district.
"Friendly, Convenient and Clean"
Spent a week here and have to say the staff were absolutely lovely, very courteous and polite. Room was a little on the small side but was cleaned to a very high standard, free safe and a massive LG TV on the wall with numerous channels. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was brilliant. Wifi was very good as well. The only thing lacking was a kettle as it would have been nice to have a coffee or tea in the room after a long day seeing the sights of this wonderful city. The hotel is situated in a brilliant location just off Times Square and I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
"Adam made the Difference!"
They say first impressions count. Stepping into the lobby of the Cassa Hotel after 16.5 hours on a plane, 1 hour in immigration/customs and a 45 minute taxi ride, my first impression was "What did I see on-line that made me want to stay here"' Then we met Adam, and nothing was too tasking or difficult. I can honestly say that Adam made the difference. The room we were allocated, 606 was great. We didn't go to Butter. We used Cassa as a base. The location was brilliant considering where we had to go and the shopping in the vicinity. Thank you Adam, for a wonderful stay and for being there when we needed you.
"First Time I Ever Wrote A Review"
Felt compelled to write this review because there are many sub standard hotels in NYC and this is definitely not one of them. Booked our room thru Travelzoo, got a great price which included breakfast and I expected continental but was pleasantly surprised to find eggs and waffles. Room was modern and very very clean. Staff was courteous and friendly and went out of their way to assist you in any way. I had questions about shopping areas and one of the staff outlined a map for me! This hotel is 2 blocks from Times Square and very quiet. Cannot wait to stay there again!!! Five stars!!
"Very Convenient, Clean, and Friendly"
The staff of the hotel was very friendly. Check in, check out, and all of our interactions were pleasant. The hallway on the 7th floor (where we stayed) smelled of orange peel. Not bad (and obviously a spray) but I was glad that the smell didn't infuse the room as well. The room was a good size, actually rather large for NYC but there isn't a lot of storage space. There was a small closet behind the front door that I overlooked at first. The bathroom was clean and had a hand held shower want in addition to the shower head which was very nice. I like fairly hot showers and the separation between almost hot enough and scalding (for me) was not easy to hit. Worth it for the effort though. Location was great, just a block away from times square, very convenient to many great restaurants and transportation. The hotel also supplied an umbrella, free unless you don't return it, which came in very handy during the snow/rain that we had on our second day. Only issues that we had were minor but may be important for others. The bed is low, very low. basically on a box spring on the ground (no frame, college student style) That doesn't mean it's not nice. It was very comfortable and very well done ( nice headboard/sheets). but if a person had issues getting up or down it could be a concern for them. Also I'm a tech guy so when I set my room to cool on the thermostat and lowered the temperature I was not expecting it to be 85 degrees in my room with the heat blasting when I came back a few hours later. This wasn't a problem because I just cracked a window and shut off the AC but it obviously wasn't working correctly. We tend to stay at different hotels each time we visit NYC (a few times a year) but I could happily revisit this hotel, the location, cleanliness, and attitudes of the employees all made for a pleasant experience.
"Perfect staying "
Fantastic hotel for visiting the city of New York, room not too large but very cozy and clean. Everything went well. Position is just perfect and really close to many things to see in NY. Guys at the reception desk were very kind. One of the best hotel I have ever been.
