"Century Park Hotel"
After a 31 hour travel day, we arrived in Bangkok late in the evening. Checking into the hotel was quick and easy. The staff is very friendly and spoke enough English to give us information on the area. Our room was on the 17th floor. The room was very clean and set up nicely with a beautiful bathroom that had a bath tub separate from the shower. This was great because I could soak my tired muscles while my husband could shower. The bed was very comfortable and there is dark curtains to block the sun for those adjusting to the time difference. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast that was included in our stay. There was friendly staff and many varieties of food (not just breakfast items too, my husband had chicken wings!) The quality of food was good. The pool on the 5th floor we did not use, but looked nice. The staff was friendly every time we returned to the hotel. There is a restaurant and a snack bar that we did not use. The hotel is not far from the people mover to get all around town. There is a 7-11 just a short walk so you can grab snacks and water. The hotel provides two bottles of water a day but we needed WAY MORE than that. Accommodations were great and affordable, I would highly recommend this hotel.
"Good hotel - value for money"
Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2016 and had a great time. Room fine, hotel breakfast was good (ok, it's not an English breakfast) with enough choice. Bangkok is huge so choice of location is very much down to personal preference but we found it was in easy reach of Khao San Road and the Chao Praya River for evening entertainment. Service from the hotel staff was always good and we would certainly recommend this hotel. It's not what you would consider a luxury hotel but it's very nice and excellent value.
The hotel was central to the station for the Sky Train which was about a 7 minute walk. This allows you to get to almost anywhere and see the sights! The staff at the hotel were really nice and the restaurants were nice. A little more expensive than eating out side but you expect that. The hotel has a lovely pool and it was hardly used.
"Nice hotel in the capital city"
A nice hotel close to the epicentre of Bangkok. A big hotel with nice staff, clean rooms with good air-conditioning and an okay view from the 18th floor and well resourced breakfast buffet. I would stay here again if I ever come to Bangkok.
The staff here were pleasant generally. The room was on floor 15 and had an interesting view of the temple below. The breakfast was no more than ok, watermelon, bananas and pineapple not a very exciting selection. Bread was plentiful, small selection of hot food but nothing too pleasing. For me the best part of the hotel was the interesting pool area. The beds are very comfortable and laid around a two tier pool amongst lots of greenery. The spa is adjacent and you can receive complimentary pool towels here and order drinks. The location is not great but good enough. If you come out of the hotel and turn left there isn't a lot going on but if you turn right and cross over at the top of the road to the left you walk past many shops and onto the sky train. It is easy to navigate and purchase tickets. If you just want a base then this hotel is fine.
