"Boutique hotel, nice room, average service"
I chose this hotel as a boutique because I generally appreciate the service level I've experienced in small hotels. They did not live up to this expectation. The staff was friendly, but poorly trained. We asked for recommendations several times, every one of which turned out to be wrong. As others have noted, they don't seem to understand or respect the concept of "Do not disturb". Management made some very poor service decisions. The most questionable was at the very end of the stay. My flight back to Los Angeles was at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Since it is about a one hour drive to the airport and I needed to be there at 1:30, I requested a 12:30 checkout time rather than the normal 12:00 time. Management denied this simple request, forcing me to go to the airport early, even though it is literally impossible that the cleaning staff would be able to get to all of the rooms in that 30 minute period. My stay was six nights in the hotel, meaning I paid several thousand dollars for the stay. I won't do it again.
"Paris is amazing, this hotel is NOT."
The room was nothing to call home about in my opinion. The maids service barged in my room several times even though I had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. They don't allow you to run A/C when its slightly chilly outside even though you are sweating in the room. There are constant noises throughout the hotel that seem to pierce the walls, maybe its plumbing' I could hear constant stomping from the spiral staircase all day and most of the night, there's no blackout curtains so hopefully you can sleep with light in the room ALL night. Finally, its not posted ANYWHERE that you apparently are not allowed to order food and have it delivered to your room from a "third party" such as a pizza or Chinese food, etc. I was actually called from the hotel manager who told me if I wanted to eat the "unhealthy" food that I could "eat it in the street" and they have a restaurant so there's no reason to order the food. They actually refused to allow the delivery man into the property which I thought was just BEYOND rude and to call my choice of food unhealthy and to eat it in the street "if I still wanted it" was probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Bottom line Paris is beautiful and there are SO MANY nice hotels in Paris, don't go here. It's not worth. Also I stayed here for 10 days and if I didn't prepay it I would have gone to the Four Seasons.
"Belated Honeymoon Review - Loved it!"
We stayed here during our honeymoon this past May and I can't say enough good things. The hotel is just beautiful, and our room was gorgeous and extremely spacious. What really made this hotel stand out, however, was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and gracious and went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. They even helped us retrieve a phone left in an Uber with a somewhat disagreeable driver - truly above and beyond! I highly recommend this property for anyone lucky enough to be visiting Paris.
"Lovely smart hotel"
Beautiful room, great service, very clean, and even though our bedroom windows looked into the internal courtyard we didn't mind since nobody could see into our room. Very quiet room. Room 31. Nice little touch with the fudge sweets and a fresh rose to welcome us. We'll definitely come back!!
"This place is awfully low at Guitreau traffic into Street - to sleep impossible"
In general the hotel is a nice place That's the traffic during the night is so awful in the Street its nearly impossible to sleep Is it a driving Ferraris in the street very fast and very loud Check for more quiet place
