"First class hotel, no complaints"
We have stayed at this charming and cosy Hotel for several years, always in winter. The rooms are not large but large enough and very cosy. Staff are friendly and efficient. The Manager is young and smiley. There are now three restaurants to choose from and the menu is slowly being enlarged, now including vegetarian dishes and catering for the lactose and gluten intolerant. The Lounge area is tiny which some might find a disadvantage, and can get smokey as the bar area (fumoir) is not as enclosed as it might be. But these are small niggles, the Hotel is wonderful even if the room Prices could be a bit lower. You pay for Quality and the luxury Hotels in St. Moritz cost a lot more. I have marked the Hotel down on "sleeping Quality". The rooms are warm so we opened the window. Our room was over the front door and we were woken often by taxis arriving with loud guests. Another guest had a room over the bar and sometimes heard music until the early hours so ask for a quiet room.
"Great staff and Excellent Place to Stay"
I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst snowboarding and eating my way through their restaurant. Staff were very accommodating to all my requests and the afternoon tea is a nice touch that makes it feel homely.
"Worth having Diner"
having dinner at one of the restaurant (Uondas) we just had a great evening. In the old typical architectural regional house you enter a total new and well designed retaurant but fitting well into the old part. If looking at the menu card, just great, if asking for the specials of the day, even fantastic. Alle employees seems highly motivated being right next to you as well as for any special whishes you may have. And .. last but not least getting the bill, you may get best price / quality ratio within 20 miles surrounding. JUST FANTASTIC LOCATION! Don't forget to make a reservation.
"Excessively stylish and expensive meat restaurant Uondas"
We have been in Uondas for dinner, it's one of the most famous meat restaurant in this area. The aged veal chops are good to excellent but far too expensive. For a couple you need to count 200 CHF including an average wine by the glass and salad to start with. Lot's of families with young children if you go there for early dinner, noisy though.
"Good food and service, pricey though.. "
Good selection of meats and cuts, own dried aged beef, a very cool menu and a nice restaurant decor! Staff is very friendly and professional. But expect a fat bill in the end... I know meat is expensive in Switzerland but they really abuse on the meat prices...
