"Pleasant city hotel"
This is a modern slightly soulless hotel in the northern part of Bogota in a safe feeling residential area close to some good restaurants and bars - The hotel itself was utilitarian with a feel of a business hotel. The rooms comfortable and breakfast was OK. The rooftop pool was closed so could not experience it.
"Very good hotel, excellent service"
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I loved everything. The rooms are very nice and room service is perfect. Staff are very pleasant and courteous. We used one of the meeting rooms on the second floor for 3 days and everything we requested was provided exactly as we wanted it to be. Overall, the experience couldn't be better. Highly recommended.
"Nice Hotel in good area"
The hotel was bit pricey but over all it was in a good area with a park next to it for walking, running and other various exercises and walking distance to the Andrino Mall, The staff was welcoming, always happy to help you and in a good mood! Rooms are clean and very modernized, spacious and bright. The pool area and the views to the mountain was beautiful! I will stay there again at my next visit to bogota. I think the one thing they need to improve is the concierge service, other than that, i highly recommend stay at Cite.
"Great hotel in safe area with rooftop pool"
I stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 days and found the hotel to be great. The hotel definitely has a European feel and is very chic. The room service was great and not too expensive and of high quality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern with great and high quality mini shampoo, soap, and conditioner. For all the gringos out there, you CAN drink the water in Bogota, which we did with no problems. Also, the area is super safe with ample stores and restaurants all within walking distance.
"good location, good rooms, nice rooftop pool, but overprized"
I stayed four nights at the "cite". The hotel is located in a safe and trendy area next to parque Virrey with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. To get to the main Bogota tourist sights you need to take a taxi. The room was very good and tastefully decorated. Free WiFi. But then many things could be much better for the prize you pay. Staff (not all but many) at reception and in the restaurant seem to care more for their own entertainement then for guest service. I booked a hotelcar at the reception to visit a place outside the city. After 45 minutes I realised that we drove in the wrong direction. The receptionist told the driver a completely different tour than what I have booked. There is a nice rooftop pool with an absolutly weird opening schedule of which none of the staff know exactly how it works. One day it is open in the afternoon, on another it is only open in the morning and evening and on sunday it is closed altogether. At the end of your stay here, you have to check your bill carefully for not getting overcharged with taxes as they did in my case. For tourists it is since jan. 2017 a 19%. sometimes you might have payed this already when booking online. Then there is another additional tax which tourists do not have to pay. They added that tax as well on my bill but after a long and annoying discussion they took it away finally. Because of all these negative experiences i think this hotel is overprized.
