On a vacay with my sisters for a few days in Macau. Hard Rock Hotel is a perfect location for us. From the airport, taxi fare is about 40 MOP. It's close to Wynn Palace, Venetian, Sands, Parisian, Studio City. Free shuttle service to any point in Macau. they have the friendliest hotel staff from the doorman to the housekeeping. They care about your needs, room service is 24 hours.they treat you like rockstars! ☺ there is a convenience store downstairs, no need to go far. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again on next visits.
Will recommend to friends who are going to Macao for holidays. Hopefully the next stay at Hard Rock, the renovations are completed. The Dancing Water Package is very much worth while, All my family members were enthralled by the performances. Lastly, the show was very good.. A must see.
"Big hotel, good pool, lacks the personal touch."
We spent 3 nights in Macau, having come over on the ferry from Hong Kong.Macau, the strip, is a little way away from the old town, so this is a casino and hotel destination. The Hard Rock hotel is not the largest hotel by any means , but still it is rather like being in a shopping centre with rooms. The pool is good though, and after dark it is a good place to drink, swim and have a bit of fun.
"Nice hotel but not very good customer service"
Impressed with this hotel on arrival. Very nice modern, large rooms with excellent facilities. Pool was great and surprisingly only a couple of people there. Hard Rock Café had a couple of good food and drink offers and had a live band one evening. We also purchased tickets for the Spirit of the Water show which was excellent albeit a bit on the pricey side. The hotel though is in the furthest part of Macau which is still being developed. There are numerous hotels still under construction all around the hotel and if you do venture out it’s a big of a building site. Unfortunately due to a typhoon we were stranded nearly all day in Macau before the ferries started running again to take us back to Hong Kong Island. We had checked out that morning and to be honest the hotel couldn’t get us out quick enough. We had no idea if the ferries would run that day and the reception team to be honest didn’t really care – no offer of late check out and when we asked if they might have a room available that night if the worse came to the worse, they said they didn’t. All they wanted was for us to spend more money in the hotel – suggesting we go shopping in the hotel or see the show (which we had already seen). They could have been a bit more helpful in this respect so not very good customer service.
"Modern Style; A Magnificent View of the Venetian"
I love Hard Rock. I collect apparels from different Hard Rock Cafes and Hotels. And staying in COD-Hard Rock Hotel Macau is a dream come true. Room is clean and well appointed. I requested for a room with the Venetian Hotel view and it was given to me. The view is spectacular. The bed sheets and pillows are comfortable. We had a good sleep. Chris was the FO assisted us during the arrival is very friendly and helpful. His smile is welcoming. The concierge personnel Yvan who assisted us for the safety keeping of our luggages during check out is also very helpful and accommodating. Musical memorabilia are also very nice to view in the lobby and in the cafe. Just one little thing that I don't like in the room is the separate toilet and shower. I guess it will more convenient to have the shower and toilet in one location/room.
