"NICE but No Storage Area"
Hotel is located in a great location 5 minutes to the central train station and multiple restaurants and shopping with harbor and tourist attractions also easily walkable. Lobby is inviting and staff is great. They have one of the best breakfasts you’ll ever have, and there are also snacks and a light (daily changing) evening meal complimentary on the 7th floor which we did not take advantage of since we were out touring. But it is a big plus for the cost conscious since Oslo is expensive. We stayed in a standard double on the 7th floor which was small but quiet. The bathroom was good size, nice and modern. The room at first blush seemed quite stylish. The problem is the room is small and there is absolutely no place to put your suitcases. There aren’t any shelves or draws or any storage space available for clothing. There is only a flimsy desk top. It seems to look good but is downright inefficient (with poor lighting) for actual use and convenience. Wood floor was also dusty since there is no room to get under bed to clean it. You have to weigh a great location, fantastic breakfasts, extra free food and drinks against the inconvenience of constantly having to open and close your suitcase by the poorly designed layout.
"Central located hotel with the little extra"
Very nice hotel , central located to the most off Oslo. We stayed because of a concert. 300 meter away from Spectrum concerthall. 600 meter from Oslo S. Hotel offer you evening coffee and sweets , and they also have s nice buffet with some evening food . Excellent breakfast . The hotel is not the cheapest but it give you good value for the money . Very helpfull personal if you need help to find things in Oslo
"Stylish but a bit gloomy"
This is a great location - and the hotel is stylish. However, it's also rather gloomy - and not just because of the winter sun! The rooms are decorated in very dark materials. There's also nowhere to put clothes - other than on a hanger. No shelves or drawers! On the plus side, the breakfast selection is amazing, and there's a lounge upstairs with complimentary food in the evening.
"Old fashion and overpriced "
This is one of the more expensive hotels in Oslo - and it's not worth it. It's like a hotel from the 70ies or 80ies. Smelly rooms and out of date colours. Crazy loud from the air conditioning. Centrally located in Oslo. Ok breakfast, but how difficult can it be to serve warm eggs and bacon instead of cold'
"Modern and stylish hotel is the centre of Oslo"
The hotel is situated in a very strong area of Oslo, within a three to four minute walk of Central Station. Also nearby are a number of shopping centres and restaurants which are very practical and with a wide range of choice and price ranges. The hotel features a personal and stylish lobby, with free hot drinks facilities and a modern seating area, plus a location to store luggage if the room is not ready or if you have checked out. The bedroom is well catered for a Norwegian hotel, with a retractable desk, wooden flooring and open closet. The Bed was easily one of the best features of the room, very soft and super comfortable (although it was the first time I've experienced two single Duvets on a double bed!). The bathroom was large and very modern styled, plus the added benefit of heated flooring was a great addition. Overall i'd recommend this hotel for both business and holiday goers alike who are looking for a modern hotel with all the amenities. Also the staff are incredibly nice and helpful.
