"Professional hotel for a business stay."
I stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a business trip. The room seemed to have odd proportions - a massive bathroom, but the bedroom space suffered as a result (to be fair, I was in a corner room with an odd layout, so this may not be true for all of the rooms!). The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff were very helpful. My only criticisms are that external delivery drivers (i.e. Deliveroo) are not allowed to deliver directly to the room - only as far as reception, so you have to collect your delivery. Additionally, upon returning to the hotel in the early evening, there was a very strong smell of perfume / air freshener - I guess as part of the cleaning routine! I have also sampled the conference facilities at this hotel, which are very impressive.
"Business Trip / Board Meeting"
This hotel is very beautiful, clean, stylish and modern. We came here in January for a two day conference and we really enjoyed the hotel ambiance. The staff were excellent and looked after us very well. They provided fresh water and glasses at the intervals and provided a lovely lunch. The restaurant and bar are also very cool and trendy. The room..well it was stunning...When i walked in I was like Wow. I'm not sure if they just renovated it but it really was very luxurious. I would definitely go back next time I'm in London. Thank you!
Came here for a reunion, and first complaint was that the bar staff seemed baffled by the fact that a pint of London Pride should have a nice head on it, not the flat stuff they seemed appropriate. However, when a Irish lad took over he sorted it out, although e behind a bar, when the 6 nations rugby was on, was never going to be enough. The restaurant was closed on a Saturday night, so we had to sit on high stools in the bar area. Only having a main course, salmon, it was the most overdone salmon I have had in my life. Almost certain that I didn't order it on the 'crispy '. Room was reasonable. Breakfast, although for a 7.00 am serving I arrived at 7.20, the mandatory 'full English', the bacon, and sausage, in the self serve style that is the norm, was barely warm, and of course, nothing other than scrambled was the egg option on offer. Why do these places have such a problem in sourcing and cooking decent sausage, and black pudding must have visitors wondering why we we British eat it, if what is served here is typical! Checking out, one person on the desk says it all.
"Very high quality for large business hotel"
Large king suite room. Excellent new fitness room. Varied breakfast offerings. Very helpful staff. Fresh bottled water every day. Windows that open. Quiet. Great location across from tube station and on the Chiswick High Road.
"Upgraded to the max"
Hardly recognized the place from a year or so ago....revamp is spectacular. Really great lobby bar, gathering area, business center...everything. Staff is very helpful all around, and a special shout out to Aoife, who was personal and professional getting me to a room early. Bed is comfy, location is quiet, AC was a little warm (but I am an American...I like it cool enough to hang meat in my room). Bathroom lighting is weak...shaving was a challenge. Other than that, top drawer and a great location close to clients and the airport.
