"Comfortable hotel in convenient location"
We stayed here for one night at the end of November. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and stylish and all the facilities worked. The beds were large and comfortable. The breakfast cost £12 and was good but the cold meat & cheese selection was a bit small and ran out several times. The hotel is conveniently situated almost opposite Gunnersbury station on the District Line and Overground with easy access to Central London and Richmond.
"Hotel is good but not honest"
This hotel is under vip+ hotel under the expedia, but they don't honour any gold member benefit, none...So not sure is expedia problem or the problem of this hotel. I stayed the rest of the vip+ hotel, I am happy with the benefit except this one. So I think this hotel is dishonest. And the staff is not helpful at all, I asked them to call expedia and check, they refuse. Hopeless customer service at the front desk. Room is small. You may be able to pay the same price and get a better hotel some where...to me, the most important is honest when come to business
Fabulous hotel and been refurbished to high standard. We were lucky to be upgraded and got a fab room. The staff also delivered some wine for my husbands birthday. Lovely surprise ! The local area is great for grabbing dinner or even breakfast. We went to bills and also hare and tortoise. The road just facing the hotel walk down and you'll find the pilot bar and restaurant. Fab Sunday lunch. Great area and nice to get back out of the buzz of London at night. Would definitely return to this hotel. Only downside is not enough staff on reception at times.
"Weekend in central london"
We stayed in The Clayton Hotel as part of birthday celebrations in central London and due to the fact it was just off the M4 and easy to get to. We checked in and our initial room had no natural light as the windows were up against a wall. We phoned reception and asked to be moved. They weren't keen to move us as they were fully booked but after some discussion eventually we were moved to a front facing room with natural light. The hotel met our needs. We didn't have breakfast as it was highly priced and there are lots of nice cafes in Chiswick high street a five minute walk away.
"Ideal for Business"
i was in london for a short project with the customer in Chiswick Business Park and they put me in Clayton. Very nice location - 2min walk to the business park. Room and services were all good. if coming back to chiswick definately will stay again.
