The rooms and the foyer are lovely. I stayed for 3 Nights and had no issues. Hotel was clean and well maintained inside. Work was going on outside which wasnt a problem. only its a bit of a eyesore and it would have been nice to be informed on or before booking. Staff were ok, however, i found the staff on reception, unwelcoming, rude, and one even patronising. I would stay here again, based on the proximity to the station which is juat a 3/4 min walk and the interior.
"Great location, average hotel"
I just spent 6 nights at the hotel at the start of my holiday with my wife. The hotel is definitely a business hotel and is not really designed for a romantic getaway, but I was aware when booking so I was not surprised. The location can't be faulted with bus stops right outside that take you into Chiswick or further and Gunnersbury station a short walk for the District line, one stop to Kew and 2 to Richmond. We made it to Windsor castle in just over an hour. Our room on the 7th and top floor was just ok. The phone didn't work and the chair at the desk was damaged. Both were fixed after I reported. The configuration of the room meant that one side of the bed had little room with the chair mentioned above too big for the space and so my wife had to squeeze in in order to use it with the mirror on the vanity desk. The room was clean but on a couple of days I had to request towels as only 1 set was left. The coffee teas and milks were also missed on 1 of the days. Small things but the type I would not expect to have to call housekeeping for. We had one meal in the bar on our first night and it was ok. Overall ok but not the best or worst I have experienced. The location was a saving grace, about 20 minutes by cab from Heathrow too. The lighting in the room was either very bright or too dim particularly in the bathroom. The design was just curious to me. Not too sure if it was a refurbished room or not.
"Lovely and relaxing"
I stayed here just for one night on a business trip. The hotel interior is beautiful! It has recently been renovated and it looks lovely. My room was very clean and the bed was huge and so comfortable. I will definatly be booking this hotel again on my next trip to London. I would suggest booking bed and breakfast as it was lovely, such a variety of hot and cold food. Only downside was the works going on outside my room. It made the windows very dusty and woke me up quite early. I understand this won't be going on for much longer but I maybe recommend asking for a room not on that side of the hotel.
"Great hotel "
Great hotel! Good location amazing rooms and excellent staff at reception and behind the bar. Bar is open till late and the food is really really good. Will stay on business again for sure. Rooms very modern and bathroom had bath and huge shower. Massive bed.
"A cut above"
I stayed at the hotel recently for 1 night to attend a meeting in the hotel and another in central London. Prior to the stay I contacted the Hotel a number of times as I was concerned with Parking, each time I was advised Parking would not be an issue as the Hotel has its own parking and currently during building works there was no charge for the facility. The day I arrived, after a 5 hour journey, I went to the underground parking and every space was taken, I was obviously very frustrated and parked up out front on double yellow lines and went to the reception desk to vent my frustration. Well 'WOW' the very helpful reception staff quickly organised for me to park on a closed off level until the underground car park cleared that evening. The same staff member checked me in very smoothly and I was whisked off to the conference area for my meeting. The conference facilities looked fantastic and clean. The room was lovely and very well presented (912) and the ease of jumping on the district line for London, literally across the road, makes for a great hotel for access to London. Overall a great stay and great staff, when the building work is finished this will be an even better experience. I look forward to using the hotel again.
