"Cozy. Recommended for the budget minded."
Even though I was very ill with the flu, my wife and I had a nice stay in the hotel. The reception staff was very nice. Even though we were in a downstairs room, it was very comfortable with nice bed, clean bathroom with standard amenities and a small built-in kitchenette. The optional breakfast was adequate with a good selection of breads, cheeses, fruit and cereal with milk and orange juice. The location is ideal. It is a short walk to Paddington Station and is close to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Good service and a good location make this hotel an excellent choice for staying in London on a budget.
"The Cleveland Hotel is Top Class"
My wife and I had a excellent stay in this hotel. The reception staff was very welcoming and provided us with a very spacious room. We had asked for a room close to elevator without any stairs to climb and our request was granted. The room was very comfortable, with nice soft bed, a clean bathroom with good amenities, and the small kitchenette was great for our use as we like to prepare our own food. The breakfast provided was very adequate with good selection of breads, cheeses, fruit and cereal with milk and orange juice as well. The location is ideal as it is a short walk to Paddington Station to get to and from Heathrow, and is close to the Bayswater and Queensway under ground stations. Notting Hill, Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are short walks away. Good service and good location make this excellent choice at good value for money price for staying in London.
"Would highly recommend "
Very happy with our stay. Hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, good location. We especially liked the breakfast was excellent. Kitchenette was well equiped and handy. Room was cleaned daily. Hard to fault anything. Only thing was we were in the basement and had no view but still had a window to let light and fresh air in.
"Cozy place, good location "
The Cleveland hotel is situated in the heart of Bayswater. It's a 5 minute walk to Kensington garden and just 15 to 20 minutes from the Portobello market. The rooms with it enclosed kitchenette gives a nice cozy feel. Polite and friendly staff and decent amenities made for an amazing stay.
"Classic hotel in a quiet, handy location"
We stayed here early December. Having not been to London in some time we selected this hotel on the basis of the TripAdvisor reviews. The location is great! Literally a 5-10 minute walk for a tube station which had a surrounding of restaurants and shops (including a Zara and M&S!). The hotel itself is classic and quiet. The staff were always very helpful. The only downside was our room was on the top floor and the elevator only takes you so far. This was primarily a problem when we first arrived as we had large cases. However had we swallowed our pride and asked for help i'm sure it would've been given. The facilities were great, loved the kitchenette! Bathroom was clean and modern. Room was very cosy, bed very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when next in London and would highly recommend!
