"Fancy Hotel With (Not So) Delicious Foods"
Conrad Bali have every point in your checklist of fancy Bali getaway. Nice room, good pool, some amazing lodge in beachside, and very helpful staffs. But i would like to questioned Balinese food they served. The taste was not even close to authentic Balinese cuisine we ever tried before.

Conrad was an amazing choice. We stayed 5 nights, from front office, porter, concierge, they were all very friendly. We had both room service n almost breakfast everyday n dinner perhaps 3 times while we were there. Special mentioned to sujatini (If I spell it wrong, I m very sorry), restaurant supervisor we dealt with in suku. She is the one who made a differences, I m allergic to peanuts and have requested my room service meal not to put peanuts but it ended up still having peanuts in my meal n I was very disappointed then we went to the hotel restaurant~ Suku. Sujatini make it right by apologised n removed the dish from my room service bill. From that night, every night, she remembered me that I couldn't have peanut and ensure all the food has no peanut. She even anticipated our needs and brought us mosquito repellent to my wife. 8 degree's food was nice. Pool was amazing, quality of room was okay but we spent everyday out of the room so it's not a big matter. Overall is a pleasant stay. Thank you.
"Right place but the wrong time to visit."
Bali is a long way from the UK and we made the trip after recommendations from friends and persistent great reviews in magazines and newspapers. We were sold that this would be a paradise location to rival previous visits to Mauritius, Seychelles and Maldives. Our initial problem was that although we loved the hotel and staff we visited during Eid al-fitr. This meant that the hotel was full of screaming ill-behaved kids who were being looked after by their parents instead of their usual family help (who were on holiday because of the festival). Breakfasts were disaster areas with kids abusing each other, their parents and unfortunately the staff. The horrible little urchins were just plain spoilt and those early morning meals were ruined by their bad behaviour. The resort itself is very good and the pools are gorgeous but in our stay not peaceful or quiet. The beach quite frankly is poor, scrubby and inferior to what I expected at all. The beach area is well serviced but after a couple of days we found a spot that was quiet at one of the inner pools. The highlight of the stay was the Executive Floor. There are two lounges but the upper one is best. The drinks and food were first class and the service was of the highest quality. I was really impressed with the way the staff made everything so enjoyable for us from the hand made cocktails to the gorgeous range of food titbits, The grounds were beautifully tended and always looked well manicured. Overall we had a decent holiday but it was a long way to go to be frustrated by screaming kids and a lacklustre beach. Paradise it was NOT. Conrad do a good job but the location is simply not up to it.
Stayed here during a company gathering event. This is a huge hotel which I think is still part of Hilton chain. Though it's very big but rooms are easy to access. This hotel has the biggest pool among hotels I have ever stayed before and some rooms got direct access to the pool. Room was very clean, amenities were very good and they even put an iron in the cupboard. The hotel has a very nice landscape with its own private beach. They serve private dinner at the beach as well, I saw a family having private dinner at the beach which is very nice. If I have to comment then it's for the breakfast menu selections which were quite limited.
"Excellent stay as usual"
I have been staying in Conrad Bali over the years, the staffs are very nice and quick to response to queries. The rooms are clean and well maintained to the Conrad standard. Will always comeback to Conrad when i visit Bali. Thanks again for the warm experience over the years.
