"Huge hotel with great service and nice staff"
I booked a double queen deluxe room for one night with the points & money option when I was a gold member. About a week before my stay, I received an email from the concierge offering access to club lounge and other services that they could assist during my stay. I've achieved the diamond status by then so I would have the access to the lounge anyways but I was grateful for the offer. - Staff When I got off from a shuttle, a staff (speaks fluent English) at the entrance escorted us to the lobby (Sorry, I suck at memorizing names...) kept offering assistance with our luggage although we denied because we both are pretty young and strong... ha. Upon check-in, a lady (sorry... again..) greeted us, escorted us to our room which was upgraded to a two queen deluxe suite. (my fiance was very impressed with the service) She also gave my fiance a brochure written in Korean knowing that she's from Korea. A gentleman at the concierge desk also explained us how we should plan our trip given that we have a very limited time. It was very useful and we were very satisfied with all his recommendations. He was also fluent in English so it was easy to communicate. We checked out on the 39th floor. He was very kind but the communication was a bit tough. - Amenities Along with the Aromatherapy, I was able to choose one more set of amenities between Shanghai Tang & Tera Smith('). There's also a bowl filled with bath salt and a shower ball that you don't see very often at other hotels. A smartphone that you can use everywhere in Macau and even make free calls to the U.S. and Korea was very useful (I think there were a couple more of countries that you can make free calls. I guess it's a common thing in HK & Macau) - Food Complimentary breakfast buffet was available at Grand Orbit. It was more like a lunch buffet as it features a variety of foods (mostly Chinese/Asian cuisine). Foods and spirits they offer at the lounge were very nice. There were lots of choices for beverages including spirits. - Room The room was so spacious that I didn't know what to do with it. I wished I had some friends over there. The main bathroom was almost as big as a small hotel room. I wish I had a smaller room with a better view but can't really complain. - Gym Also very spacious. Not as big as hotels in Las Vegas but this one equips pretty much everything and they are all brand new. - Swimming pool Indoor pool was under construction I believe. Outdoor pools looked good for kids, not for adults.
I stayed there for 3 nights and it was great especially to the first person I met there - Isac at the reception when I checked in. He was kind, considerate and welcoming. He asked our plan for the day, then provided proper information about important spot, transportation and hotel guide in Korean. It was my first visit to Macao and he was the first person I met there. He made first impression of Macao almost perfect. I also would like to appreciate all the services Conrad provided. It was the most comfortable and pleasant hotel experience. Your service was very considerate but never too much. When I visit Macao again, I will definitely choose Conrad again.
"Pleasant but nothing remarkable"
Had a trouble free weekend stay here recently. This property is typical of many that have sprung up in Macau in recent years: large, functional, but soulless. Location is sandwiched between the other similar hotels that are along this part of the Cotai strip. Rooms were large and comfortable but the decor was rather tacky and although the hotel is still relatively new it felt dated. The usual noise problems with Chinese guests screaming at each other in nearby rooms (common in every hotel in Macau). Check in and check out staff were great but otherwise no real service to speak of - most likely you will not speak to another staff member, like many Macau hotels this place is about getting large numbers of people in and out quickly, it's very impersonal. Overall perfectly acceptable but nothing memorable.
"Awesome service, awesome location!"
Upon check in , the lady was very friendly (sorry didn't get the name!). She walked us all the way to our room to find out we had an upgrade (Diamond member) to our room along with a couple of their cute little bears! Very nice hotel. The room was very roomy and clean! The hotel is connected to 3 other hotels including the Ritz, Holiday Inn, and Sheraton. It can get a little confusing where to go to get back to your room, but not too bad. Thanks for an awesome stay!
You cant complain about anything at the Conrad. The service is outstanding. The rooms very comfortable. These people go way out to make your stay memorable .Great view and access to Casinos and shopping.
