"Excellent property, infant unfriendly - good for friends can be bad for families "
While I start to write I am sitting in a suite room of conrad macau itself. Excellent part - room size and upkeep Few great servicing individuals like - Achin and Tyra at exec lounge and gentlemen who checked us in - forgetting his name and Jim at restro grand orbit, casino downstairs and part of cotai Sands connected to venetian and parasian from level 2 in mall. And yup also Ricky and Stephen at concierge and Edmund prior to our visit Good part - upgraded to suite as a diamond member of honors Poor and arrogance - when you travel with an infant 18 months old you need some flexibility. Which this place lacks big time - comparably I am just coming from conrad Hong Kong and I can't mention how different in a good way and service standards were set by management of conrad Hong Kong... The hotel restro is not so to say in hotel itself. For an infant you can not get food to room from breakfast lounge even post requesting. The place is super busy and super noisy any infant has every chance to skip meal just looking at hoard of crowd... Looks like it's not only hotel restro that serves breakfast but is open to public and that too in bulk. Timing for a casino city aren't great breakfast finishes at 10.30 and normally casino get max crowd at night so bit ironical and guess management should make intelligent call keeping nature of property in mind instead following dated rules I being a diamond member have access to exec lounge but there spread is limited and even post requesting that get me a vegetarian dish from restro down to exec lounge it was denied... Seems restro surely isn't in conrad alone s command and serves to more hotel So food wise eat out is better option than rely on conrad macau specially if you are with Lil ones and if you are a vegetarian Having stated with hilton in mainland China I expected macau to be better but surprisingly both hilton Shenzhen and conrad Hong Kong beat this one on service, behavior and management humility hands down Even post putting a formal complaint or feedback the gentleman who answers reply to all reviews or any senior person didn't bother to contact And if you are with little one think twice - you won't like your kid to skip meal and stay on milk alone... 2 stars I am giving are for the team and humble chaps whom I interacted over last 2 days and the room 3 I am not giving is for management who sleeps over complaints and are very unlike hilton standards that too when I am one of their highest loyalty tier guest
"Gem of an Hotel"
No wonder Conrad Macao is rated as the best hotel in Macao. Any 5-star hotel you would expect the room to be of superior fit and finish and it's no different at Conrad. But this Hotel surpasses in the quality of their Service. From the time of check-in till check-out, all requests, proactive gestures and what not. Undoubtedly the best stay so far in South-East Asia. Special shoot out to the Concierge Guest Relations Officer - SOFEA. Keep up the amazing work.
"Excellent lounge, fantastic and prompt service"
The staff at Conrad Macao really go all out to make sure that their guests are comfortable. We were personally ushered to check-in in their Executive Lounge from the ground floor lobby. When we checked into our non-smoking room, there was a definite stale cigarette smell. A phone call and about 30 minutes later, we were swapped into a clean room. Unfortunately due to the nature of the Sands Cotai Complex and it's in house casinos, the whole place reeks of cigarette smell especially from their clientele's clothing. The smell lingers especially in the public areas and guests are seen blatantly ignoring the non-smoking room. Of all the hotels there, Conrad has probably the most "smoke-free" environment. The main smoke gauntlet that we had to run was between the lifts and the Executive Lounge due to the Apex Club (I assume casino). The housekeeping team at Conrad is top notch. The foot bed of the bed blanket was only slightly wet from the kids' bathers and they automatically changed it during the evening's Turn down service! The meal service at the Lounge was smooth and efficient. We were again looked after. A special mention to Sarah and Miraz. The pool was heated enough for us to swim, which is a bonus. As a comparison, you are heads above The Conrad in Singapore. Thanks Conrad Macao for the lovely stay.
Convenient location, nice room & staff & good aerobic room. The pools were scattered and small. Sufficient for a dip but not for a swim. Nice health club albeit lacking windows. The suites are fantastic and huge. That said, free upgrade would help. In this competitive day and age, it is still a good bang for your bucks. The food court downstairs has it all. Hasta Mañana.
I am Hilton Diamond and have stayed at many Conrads and Waldorf''s. We travel far to go to Macau in large part because we love the hotel, our upgraded room, the magnificent staff, the executive lounge and the wonderful food (both Asian and Western). It is probably our favorite hotel on the planet. The only small negative is not specific to hotel; namely, my wife and I are dancers and we find the music/dance scene limited in Macau.
