"Idyllic Resort "
The Conrad Rangali is the largest resort we have visited in the Maldives and that equates to more choices for dining. However it doesn't compromise the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere that is the expectation of Maldivian hotels. Excellent service from a group of employees who ideally mix professionalism with friendliness.
"Definitely one of the best resort in maldives"
friendly staff and the resort is well maintained, it is worth to upgrade to deluxe beach villa. we have paid discounted rate of 1200 usd for 7 nights upgrade. the only concern for us is the electric blind, sometimes not working properly. will go back in the future.
We stayed here for one week and it was hands down the most luxurious and enjoyable holiday I can remember! The staff were amazing, nothing you ask is ever too much especially from our personal concierge Ajay who from the moment we arrived off the Seaplane (another amazing experience) was always available to help and advise us on things to do on the island. On our anniversary my partner told Ajay that we were celebrating our anniversary so he went above and beyond to make our day feel extra special - much to my surprise! The room was second to none, we stayed in a Beach Villa on the main island and were blown away by the standard of it. Every little detail was thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The recreation was also great, we are not the kind of people to sit on a beach all day and we were never bored! Scuba diving, snorkelling, paddle boarding etc was all available on the island. Yes the prices are fairly high but when you receive such amazing quality as a result I honestly cannot complain. I will definitely be visiting here again and again!!
This was our second stay at the Conrad and fourth in the Maldives. The hotel has expanded the number of restaurants, leisure facilities and excursions. Staff are superb, professional and friendly; rooms are fantastic, especially the water villa we stayed in. Food is a bit too expensive but overall quality is excellent. We loved the Conrad and it's our go to place in the Maldives.
"Beach Villa Heaven"
Let me say one thing about the four nights at Conrad Maldives spent in our beach villa......it was the best four vacation nights of our lives! Yes, there are countless reviews touching on the beauty of the island - it is true...you will find yourself non-stop in picture taking mode, but the remodeled Beach Villas need their share of kudos. Our arrival was well orchestrated by the staff at MLE and the Conrad lounge. We were well taken care of. After a quick sea plane ride we landed in what is the closest moment to Fantasy Island that I have experienced. Our beach villa was indeed newly renovated and it was top notch all the way. The fixtures and furnishings are of very high quality and every bit of space is well utilized. The colors used are cool and soothing, fabrics comfortable and inviting..bed to die for.....large brand new TV...great wifi signal (assigned to your own villa, in fact)- it truly was beyond our wildest expectations. The outdoor shower and tub were so wonderful and we did not encounter a single insect at any time. The outdoor patio had a ceiling fan to keep the breezes moving and lounge chairs to enjoy the quiet evening or afternoon. Steps away from the patio was the fantastic beach with plenty of private pairs of chairs and umbrellas. Back to the interior: a new and very handy coffee maker, numerous electrical outlets that were perfectly positioned, and a terrific day bed that was indoors adjacent to the bed and could be segregated by flowing curtains were additional features. We simply loved it! All the food and beverage that we enjoyed was top notch. For dinner or lunch, our favorite was to go to Rangali Bar or order room service, with in-room dining being part of a wonderful retreat we had at the end of a day exploring and having fun in the sun. Our villa was 216 and was perfectly located to Atol, Dive Center, Gym, among other places close by. Itha was also near and we enjoyed the afternoon cocktail session - great fun and plenty of opportunity to view the undersea marvel that this restaurant is. Being a Diamond member, the breakfast buffet and happy hour each day was a treat. We did not attend the Tea Time, as that seemed to always be our nap or gym time, but heard it was quite delightful. As for the staff: I can't recall being around such an engaging community. Each of the team members, regardless if management or front of house, was enthusiastic, friendly, and more than willing to take the time to chat with us and share their story - all seem to truly enjoy being a part of the Conrad family and I can see why! While we had numerous terrific encounters, I want to mention specifically our fondness for Mr. Lyle Lewis, General Manager. He was everywhere on property! We had the pleasure of speaking with him on a few social occasions, but my favorite moment was when we were crossing from one island to the next, pulled up in the boat to pick up arriving guests (only to pull back due to the current) and Lyle saw us on the boat and returned our waves of hello like a friend that you would happen to see passing by - he just has an overwhelming sense of genuine hospitality that made such an impression on us. He is engaged with everybody within his radius at all times! We have since departed and are now staying at the Conrad Manila (a very nice and new property) and can see the hospitality spirit is strong here too and my long time loyalty to another brand is truly being challenged! In conclusion, while I often thought of one of the key iconic symbols of the Maldives to be overwater villas, don't fret if you find yourself making a move to stay in one of the beautiful Beach Villas - these newly refurbished retreats are simply second to none!
