"Atmospheric and Ideal Location"
Short stay in Copenhagen for 2, we found a 3 nighter plus flights for £560. Hotel of this type you are probably looking at £160 ish per night. That said, breakfast (150Dkk) is on top. The breakfast was continental, but very extensive and well worth that cost I thought. Coffee was excellent. A converted quayside warehouse the hotel retains much of the character with old exposed beams all over the place. Staff very helpful and language was not a problem. Smallish bar for the size of the hotel with a large screen for special TV events. There seemed to be a lot of wasted space in the right hand side of the main doors, but I could see conference rooms in the area so maybe it's utilised during those type of events. Easily within walking distance of the canal side restaurants and bars of which there are quite a few. Hotel is close to several metro stations which connect direct to the airport. Travel is cheap, clean and efficient. Flat walking shoes are recommend as most walk areas we came across were small stone blocks and quite difficult when wet. We did not eat in the hotel 'Salt' restaurant in the evening preferring to explore some excellent local smaller ones.
Everything about this hotel is positive. Warmth radiates. Fantastic location for exploring. With the opera house opposite and royal suites two minute walk. Away from the hustle of the main city. Comfy rooms. Very well kept too. Can even hire bikes from here. Very quiet.
"Lovely hotel. Great location. "
Stayed here Monday-Thursday. Was a lovely, clean hotel. Breakfast wasn't included in our room and for 150krone it was quite expensive...but was still nice. The bar area is really warm and homely. Staff very friendly. We went with our 1 year old little boy and he was loving all the space in our room. The only thing not giving it 5 stars was the beds. No double bed- just two singles pushed together so kept falling down the middle. Wasn't great for little boy when he climbed into bed with us and kept falling down. Other than that, had a lovely stay and would recommend it!
"Valentines in Copenhagen"
Fab hotel, excellent location and great staff. SALT their restaurant was amazing. Would go back, just wasn't so pleased with the room as it was two singles with two single quilts pushed together, which for a room booked as a double was a bit odd and the room was a bit dusty. Would be more picky on arrival into room next time.
"Good base for visiting sights"
We really loved the old style and the location of this hotel as it is right near the Royal Palaces and meant that we could go to lots of attractions around the area. Our room was comfortable, clean and pleasant even though we had to duck under the wooden beam that dominated the space! The only gripe is that the hotel doesn't include breakfast and we had to go out which wasn't much of an inconvenience as there was lots of cafes around. We didn't try the hotel restaurant as it was michelin standard which is not quite our sort of thing. Drinks and hot chocolate was good!
