"Modern, Friendly Staff and Lovely Views"
We stayed at the hotel for three nights during February half term with our two sons (5 & 8). We had two rooms side by side. The Reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English. Our bedrooms were immaculate, very modern with good amenities. The high sloping ceiling with huge windows made up for the smallish square footage. The breakfast buffet was great with a good range of food on offer. The hotel was slightly out of the way, but we enjoyed the walk along the waterfront into the centre which took about 20 minutes. The hotel is also right next door to a large shopping mall with lots of restaurants and a cinema. The only minor criticism we would have was the lack of English TV available for the kids. All in all though, an excellent hotel representing good value for money which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
"Clean and efficient"
Stayed there on a stopover. The hotel is clean and efficient. The room is sufficiently roomy. The staff was very helpful and service oriented. Easy to get to from the airport. Nice view from our windows.
"Not heart of copenhague"
This hotel is far from the city center, beds are smalls and very unconfertable, this hotel is for mettings and bussines. So disapoitened. Service is ok but the hotel is not for my recomendation . I wont come bac anymore. I prefer sp34 for example
Very modern clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast very good and served till late. Quite a stroll into town, about 20 minutes not too bad unless it's raining! Took us a while to find walking from train station. Hop on hop off bus stops 5 mins away at Tivoli hotel so quite handy. Only disappointment was not getting a water view. Mistakenly thought all rooms had water view. The standard rooms don't! Extra £25 per night to upgrade so didn't bother. Overall nice stay.
I loved this hotel! It is super modern and has a really nice staff. The buffet breakfast is great, except the coffee. I was upgraded upon arrival to a harbor view room. Definitely recommend that. Nice fitness facility and sauna. I thought the restuaurant was good, but a little limited in choice. Once I ate at the sushi restaurant at Tivoli Hotel across the street, I never went back to the Copenhagen Island resturant. Sticks and Sushi is fantastic (Tivoli Hotel). The hotel is a bit far from city center, but great if you like walking, or you can rent a bicycle to ride into town. Also, three lines for the hop on hop off tour bus stop just across the street at Tivoli hotel, so it is very convenient. Copenhagen mall is next door if you like that kind of experience. This was my first time to Denmark and I was impressed by Copenhagen. Do yourself a favor...drink as much tap water as possible. It is delicious!!
