The hotel is one train stop from the centre of Copenhagen. It's 5 minutes walk from Copenhagen's mall so handy for shopping, eating and the cinema. We paid extra for a canal view and it was worth it as it was very quiet with a nice view, compared to looking over a busy road on the other side. The room was a good size with a comfortable seating area and French windows opening onto a small balcony. We didn't eat in the hotel as it's expensive and the restaurant doesn't get good reviews. We'd definitely stay here again as we enjoyed getting away from the noise of the city in the evenings. You can walk a long way along the waterside, past bathing pools and sun decks, to get to other attractions and the views are great.
"Hotel in best position"
The hotel has two type of rooms: water side or road side. This time the reception reserve me a room in the best side. Spectacular view of this part of Copenhagen. Room modern and cleaned. Also the bathroom is warm and large. Close to a Fisketorvet commercial center and to the Dybbolsbro train station, you can get the center of Copenhagen in minuts. The price can change according to the seasons. Now is around to 140 euros per nigth. Generous breakfast but cofee and cappuccino are extra as well as the breakfast.
"THEFT - AVOID THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING STOLEN FROM"
I had the unfortunate experience of having to stay here. It is a dishonest hotel that only cares about making money from you and when you book a double room you get a TWIN room. Not acceptable. Please do yourself a favour and sort the tripadvisor reviews using 'negative' and read those. They tell the truth. I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy as it is dishonest, and I do not like dishonesty.
Hotel very welcoming , all staff friendly and helpful in everyway possible. we asked for a upgrade to a harbour view, which we got instantly at a cost of 200DKK a night. Room was very nice, comfortable, good view and quiet. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and space to sit. Even ate a meal at night which was ok but I thought expensive for what you got. It s a little way out of the city but 20 mins walk and your there, also the Hop on hop off bus stops outside so that's ideal.
"The narrowest beds in the world"
I normally don't put a lot of weight into a review based JUST on the bed... but I slept so badly on these narrow beds, that the hotel deserves a 1* - they are just that bad. We told reception that we hated our narrow beds and the worker basically didn't care and told us we had to just accept it. I would not recommend this hotel ever. It is not very well located either as it is away from the centre. Steer clear.
