"Nice Hotel just outside the City Centre"
We visited to celebrate my wife's birthday in Copenhagen. The location of the hotel is just outside the city centre but right next to the river. So you can make full use of the river boats. The hotel is very modern, the rooms, compact, clean and bright. The breakfast was very good with loads of choice. I felt the personal touch was slightly lacking, as I had informed the hotel it was my wife's birthday prior to our visit but this was not acknowledged on our arrival or throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently right next to a large shopping centre. So if you didn't want to venture to far, plenty of standard type restaurants nearby.
"Very good attention, small rooms Air not working"
The personal is incredible, the facilities and the view its pretty awesome, but to small rooms for the price and for the tripple room we paid was to few space to even walk in the room, the air condition its pretty poor also they really need to improve it.
Went December 2015 for 2 nights. Hotel is lovely and perfectly situated very clean he tidy and breKfast was great too. Small walk from tivoli garden which was beautiful at Christmas. Lots of restaurants close by and also high street all within 20minutes walk.
This is an ok hotel in Copenhagen, It is reasonably centrally located within walking distance from the meat packing district. The rooms are really small and air conditioning is not very good which leads to a very warm room. The gym is limited but really nice with bright and good views. Food is ok and the service is overall very good.
"Good 4 star hotel and excellent base to explore Copenhagen"
We travelled as a couple and booked this hotel for a week via BA after reviewing the reviews on this site. So I hope I can help others, in the way they have helped me! I emailed the hotel in advance with some requests and queries and all emails were answered promptly and all requests were met. We asked about arriving at the hotel and they rightly pointed out, that there is a train stop by the hotel and you can easily travel from the airport to the hotel. (Don't search for a metro at the central train station, this is the mistake we made, there isn't one, they are currently building one.) However, if travelling with large heavy cases, you will be faced with a large flight of steps, approx 45 steps, to carry the cases down. Impossible unless you are a muscle man or have a small case. I was relieved that we had arrived by taxi, we could not have managed the steps and all the luggage. The taxi from the airport costs between 240DK and 260DK and takes approx 15 mins.We reserved a standard room with breakfast included. We were asked regarding an upgrade on arrival which was 200DK per night, which was good value. We declined as we planned to spend little time in the hotel as it was a base to explore various places. The room was compact but sufficient for two. If travelling with a small child, trying to fit a cot and a child in the standard room would be claustrophobic. The upgraded rooms are facing the water and alleged to be larger, cannot confirm either way. If visiting in the summer, I would pay to upgrade the room, pleasant to face the water. The standard room faced the road which was noisy when the window was open but silent when closed. No safe in the room, which I found to be odd, I have never encountered this before. That said, we used the safe in the reception. Similarly, no iron or ironing board in the room, I requested one and it was there within minutes. The staff in the restaurant and at reception were all pleasant and helpful. We asked lots of questions and all answered thoroughly and no signs that they must have been asked the same questions two thousand times before. We only had breakfast at the hotel, it started at 06.30 to 10.30 hrs on week days and 7am on the weekend. The restaurant was busy over Easter, but we always had a table and the selection plentiful, fresh fruit, choice of cereals and wide choice of hot food, coffee pot on the table.Wifi was available throughout the hotel although at times it did not work. I agree with one of the previous reviews, you would expect the BBC available as a channel on the TV, it is nice to follow the news whilst getting ready to go out. It took us 5 mins to print the boarding passes for the flights home, you are able to use the business centre for this purpose. This facility alone was a good service better than the Hilton we had recently stayed at, impressive! Kettle in the room and complimentary tea and coffee. Water in the room safe to drink. If you prefer bottled water, Netto next door in the Mall to buy the cheapest water. I would recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again. It is a modern, clean impressive building, we had a lovely stay.
