"It's just ok"
After a mistake with our booking we were upgraded to a suite.. Yeah! But it was very dated indeed.. Nothing special. Great staff on the reception but hit and miss elsewhere. Breakfast was an utter nightmare. Cocktails in the bar were very boring too.. Not the best place we have stayed Good location though
"Honeymoon stay "
We stayed here on the 1st night of our honeymoon on the way to Paris. The hotel holds a special place for us as my parents spent their honeymoon there 43 years ago. We told the hotel this and were upgraded which we hugely appreciated made our stay extra special, lovely hotel with very pleasant staff and food. Cannot fault it, we will be back thank you.
"Excellent breakfast and great staff"
Spent just one night at this hotel. comfortable room, good location, very friendly welcome and the hotel had a welcoming feel to it. Special compliment to the staff at the breakfast buffet, Friendly, helpful attentive and most of all smiling. the food was good as well
For the location this hotel is great. I found the rooms slightly small. However, due to a mix up the staff upgraded us. The security room we had had fabulous views of London. The location is near great restaurants, bars and shops. The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff.
"Another excellent stay"
Once again we stayed at the Tara Copthorne prior to attending a concert in the Royal Albert Hall and I can honestly say, we were not disappointed. Despite it being almost a year since our last visit, we were made to feel very welcome from the outset. The rooms are warm and comfortable, the shower and bathroom clean and well stocked and the only noise we heard were the low rumblings of a train. Breakfast is plentiful with a vast array of choices to suit all tastes. It's worth noting that there was a bit of a queue at 0900 so make sure you get there early. Staff are always attentive and, most of them, seem happy to be there. A number asked any we were there and really took an interest in us, which was nice - not just asking questions without taking notice of the answers. Would I recommend this hotel - most definately. There are loads of historical attractions close by (walking distance) and the tube train is just around the corner. All in all, thank you to the management and staff for a superb weekend. See you again soon.
