"A maze of architectural forms playing with light"
The Corinthia subtly blends the needs of a business hotel with the elegance requested for luxury hospitality. Between the sky and the Nile the Corinthia Hotel Khartoum is an unusual address for travellers in search of new impressions. Guests at this urban oasis are immediately greeted by a maze of architectural forms playing with light. The welcome and service are meticulous. The interiors at the Corinthia's immediately catch the eye and lead it to follow the great architectural expanse the lobby. The sinuous forms of the Corinthia design a harmonious and functional unit capable of consolidating, thus conferring intimacy to the ample spaces. The interior design revolves around the light which is clearly at the service of contemporary design. The Blue Nile and the fluvial island, all as a backdrop. The infinite view out over Khartoum and the Nile. The light entering through the grand windows. Traits which optimally enhance the modern rooms. In terms of restaurants, the offering is vast and of high quality. The designer spaces, the view and the spectacular architecture create a fascinating setting for the contemporary cuisine of the Mugran Restaurant: a range of flavors from Mediterranean to African on to Oriental. Tradition and innovation, on the other hand, characterize the menu at the Rickshaw, inspired by China and Japan. The proposal at the Grill, instead, is more international and dynamic - a convivial, modern and cozy ambience. In Khartoum, overlooking the Blue Nile, The Corinthia subtly blends the needs of a business hotel with the elegance requested for luxury hospitality.
"Stunning Hotel But Slow Poor Service."
Stayed as part of business trip. stunning hotel with stunning views but staff and service are so slow. to make it a truly 5* hotel would need a European manager with a lot of patience to "crack" the whip and really show them what could be achieved! ! The restaurants and food are excellent and can't be faulted. Cafe's serve tea/coffee cakes and again excellent! ! Laundry service is hopeless. no Concierge available for advice and guidance! ! Basically it is a 4* but with possibilities! !
"Fair stay, will try another hotel in my next visit"
The hotel has an excellent location, though 20 minute far from the airport. The building is amazing and lobby is wide and very comfy. The rooms are ok, I did not like the floors with tiles, the bed and amenities are OK. The air-conditioning is excellent, TV is small but OK. The breakfast is on the 16th floor with an awesome panoramic view, but the variety is just fair. The most important thing this hotel needs to do is train their staff, all staff need some serious upgrade in their service quality. though they are very friendly and humble but all needs training.
Corinthia hotel , located on the Nile street , has an incredible panoramic view for Khartoum when you stay at the 17th level . To have a cup of coffee , with this view : is really another feelings . Honestly,,,you have to try it . Note : Turkish coffee:is not good !! Espresso is perfect.
