Polecam ten hotel.Comment of W. Artur , Belgium the 2014-12-09
Sehr empfehlenswert!!!!!Comment of K. Regina , Germany the 2014-11-09

"Good hotel in convenient location"
The Corinthia Hotel is located a bit South of central Prague. However, it is located very close to the Vysehrad metro station, which will take you into the city in about 5 minutes. The reception staff were very helpful and check-in was efficient and quick. The concierge was also very helpful and helped to arrange daily tickets for the metro (that way you could charge it to your room and didn't need to work the ticket machines at the station). The room was very nicely laid out. It had all the features you would expect from a hotel room (including a refridgerator/mini-bar). The room has a trouser press (inside the closet), but if you want ot iron something you have to ask reception to provide iron and ironing board (which they will happily do). The hotel also has a gym, spa and pool up on the top floors. I only used the pool, so can only comment on that. The pool area was very nice, with deck chairs beside the pool and a nice view over the city. The pool is not huge, so if there are more than 3 people in there swimming, it does get a bit crowded. Shower and changing area is very nice and clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet provides a great selection, including custom-made omelets. The food is nice and fresh and nicely presented. As the hotel is popular amongst business people, breakfast can get a bit crowded and there may be a short wait before you are seated. What I liked most were the staff and the convenience for transport. What I liked least were the sometimes crowded conditions in the pool and in the breakfast room. Overall, a very good hotel in a good location.
"Great hotel, great location"
Stayed here for 3 nights. There was a problem with the AC in that particular room so we had to change our room. While emptying the safe I forgot some money in it which I only realized the next day. The housekeeping found the money and gave it to the reception. The place has nice & honest staff. Location wise it's 10 mins away from the old town but there is a metro station right next to the hotel and 2 stops in the train get you to the old town. The spa in on the top floor and has great views of the city. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
"Value for Money"
Convenient Access, friendly staff from reception to Sauna and all restaurants and bars. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Very reliable and fast wifi. Sauna and swimming pool nice and clean. I enjoyed my time.
"Great location, great rooms"
This hotel had a really great location literally across from the subway station. In 5 minutes you're in the middle of the action in Prague. The rooms are very comfortable yet I wish the shower was bigger. Wifi was great but the best thing was the breakfast, so many delicious things to choose from! The staff was very kind and nice and always with a smile. The only let down was that if you wanted to use the pool you had to pay, I could understand paying for the parking, the wifi but the pool''' That caught me off guard. This hotel is great, will return, even if I have to pay for using the pool which I won't do.
"Nice hotel, fantastic staff"
We stayed for 4 nights in July 2015. The location isn't bad, very easy to get to from the airport in around 30-40 minutes by public transport. It isn't in the heart of the tourist area, which means it is quiet and peaceful but the metro station right next door means that you can get into the city centre very easily and quickly. But it does mean that the immediate vicinity of the hotel isn't as pretty and charming as if you stayed somewhere more central. However a ten minute walk takes you into Vyserhad town which is lovely and has amazing views down to the river. There are also cheap bars and cafes in the old town too. I have stayed in 5* hotels before and I wouldn't say that I think the facilities at the Corinthia are 5*, but a definite high 4*. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with a decent size bathroom. The room included a TV with good reception and a variety of channels including some English language news channels, a hairdryer, ample clothes storage space and coffee making facilities (including a good stock of coffee, tea, milk). The free toiletries provided were of good quality and included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, cotton buds and cotton wool pads. The free Wifi coverage was excellent throughout the hotel. We spent a couple of hours in the spa. This is a lovely area on the top floor with great views. The spa included a pool, sauna and steam room, but sadly missing a jacuzzi which is usually my main reason for visiting a spa. Breakfast was very good with just about every type of food you could ever expect to find in a breakfast buffet. We did think it was a bit overpriced though and only had breakfast once during our stay because of this. We also had an evening meal at one of the hotel restaurants The Grill and it was lovely. Other than the hotel you can also pop to Yam Yams Thai restaurant next door for cheap drinks (we thought the price of spirits at the Corinthia was high compared to anywhere else we went to in Prague). Yam Yams do wonderful cocktails for half the price of a vodka and coke at the Corinthia. The best thing about our stay at the hotel was the staff. The staff get a 5* rating from me, especially Matthew one of the customer service managers. He spent a lot of time with us when we first arrived, taking the trouble to find out what we hoped for from our visit to Prague and gave us a lot of tips which helped to make our stay absolutely amazing. Other than Matthew we felt that we were treated like royalty by the staff, especially during our evening meal in the Grill where I celebrated my 50th birthday. All in all we loved the hotel and would definitely consider returning if we visit Prague again.
