"Functional but not charming"
We stayed here for 3 days booking through Viking Tours. It was a "new world" hotel that could be found near any airport in the U.S. It was clean, modern (with a couple exceptions), and the service was good. It's location was outside the main downtown area but right on the Red Line subway. The stop was less than 100 yards from the front door of the hotel. Viking runs a regular shuttle into the Old Town Square for their customers. Also, you can get on the Hop-On and Hop-Off bus hourly which also stops in front of the hotel. Now...what was not modern--the shower was the goofiest contraption I've seen. First off the bath tub was very deep and although I am athletic and not in need of any assistance, I found I had to be very careful getting out of it. The shower head was one of those ones that you hold in your hand and try to spray your body while soaping down. Can't figure out who thought this would be convenient. If you want to really feel the city the Corinthia is not the place to stay. If you want a comfortable American style hotel (the shower not withstanding) then the Corinthia is fine.
"nice surprise in praga"
I arrived in this hotel with my family: a husband and a litle daugther 3 years old. The customer assistent received us with our language (italian) it was a lovley surprise, The room was clean and confortable. We paied a extra for go to pool, spa, and businnes lounge room. The spa was good and the pool wonderful ( maybe the pool's water was quite cold for my daugther). In the morning we took a complete breafast with a delicious food. Only a bad thing... we payed for three places ... but... we waited a little bed for our daugther in vain. When we went checkout we told about the baby bed. The guest service manager who named Tereza promised us spa free if we will book this hotel in the future and gave a doll for my daugter. Teresa was very friendly and we forgotten this trouble.
"Best value and location in Prague!"
This hotel is arguably the best in Prague and I have stayed every time I go to Prague. The food is excellent and the service superb but the location is the key. On top of Vysherad metro station 1 euro of ticket takes you anywhere in Prague and it is only '1.25 to the airport. In terms of value for money it ranks at the top. The views from the rooms are superb. It also has a fabulous pool and health centre. Michael Grimes
"Awesome service and facilities"
Stayed here for 3 nights during a sales conference. Awesome service, impeccable facilities, not near city center but steps away from the subway so it's easy to go anywhere. Wifi is great. Would definitely return.
"Nice hotel, but not Corinthia in London"
We booked this hotel for our first visit to Prague. The hotel is not in the city itself, but two or three stops on the metro (station <5 min walk) gets you close to all the action. We chose this hotel primarily because we knew the London hotel where we had stayed before. The service is on par with their London sibling, but it's very clear that it's also an older hotel. The amenities in the room - especially the safe - demonstrate that aptly. The spa is fairly good, but we found that they allow children to swim even during the "adult only" hours, which is frustrating. We had a few good treatments there. Their restaurants are very good. The Thai restaurant there is nice, albeit a bit expensive for what you get. A similar food experience for a fraction of the price is available walking distance from the hotel. A recommendation is the Jazz Boat cruise which they can organise.
