The Corus Hotel Hyde Park is in a perfect location overlooking Hyde Park and only a short distance from the shops of Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and the bright lights of Theatreland. The establishment is only 2 minutes away from Lancaster Gate Tube Station and close to Paddington Train Station.

Das Fenster im Zimmer war undicht dadurch war es im Zimmer laut. Ansonsten ein gutes Hotel für einen Städtetrip. Super FrühstückComment of K. Helmut , Austria the 2015-12-28

Stayed here to attend an awards ceremony. The staff were brilliant, I do not have a single complaint. Especially a receptionist called Kasia who couldn't be more helpful. The room was fresh and clean, if a bit hot. Only issue with room was ironing board was hung up in wardrobe and I couldn't get it out. Also shower pressure was low. Public areas of hotel were clean (even with lifts being fixed). The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was hot and a good selection. One issue was the orange juice that was very watery. I have already booked to go back in the new year, I enjoyed it so much.
The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location however the rooms are TINY and almost claustrophobic - it's almost like staying in a caravan. There is no luggage storage except for under the bed and the sink and shower are basically in one. Would not recommend for anyone who wants a big room. Breakfast was average and I was disappointed after reading reviews. On the first day we were sent downstairs as we were a party of 6 and could not be sat upstairs. Downstairs felt like a holiday park like Butlins and the breakfast choice was not the same. We waited on three waiters before we could actually get a table even though it was empty. I had read reviews about an omelette bar though I am yet to see this. At night the reception area would change from comfy sofas to the breakfast tables therefore there wasn't much space for people to sit around. The hotel was clean and well located but not sure I would stay here again as it was just too small. The lifts also took forever to come and there was ALWAYS people waiting. Bar prices were also extortionate however this is expected in London.
During December i was looking to book a hotel for a short stay in London. I decided to book Corus due to the relatively decent prices and good location. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Friendly staff, quiet rooms, clean and well above what was expected from looking at the hotel website. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. However, if you are looking for a long breakfast to relax and slowly wake up to your day, this is not your place. Due to high bookings, there is s tendency to 'rush' you into eating and getting up to go so to make room for the rest of the residents. All this in a polite way of course. Other than this, the hotel is lovely, the rooms nicely decorated, plenty of hot water and generally worth the money you pay.
"Perfect for our purpose"
Got taken here for my birthday weekend. The hotel room was decorated beautifully with much needed wooden blinds. Breakfast was varied and tasted good, especially the sausages. Brilliant stay, would definitely return. Staff were polite and hlpful when it came to storing our bags after check out
"2 days in London"
This hotelwas very nice but a bit dated. It is very close to a metro station and therefore easy to get almost anywhere . There are not many restaurants close by but a real English pub is next door with appropriate choices. It is across the street from Hyde Prk so fairly quiet at night.
