The Corus Hotel Hyde Park is in a perfect location overlooking Hyde Park and only a short distance from the shops of Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and the bright lights of Theatreland. The establishment is only 2 minutes away from Lancaster Gate Tube Station and close to Paddington Train Station.

Buena situación, a pocos metros del metro Lancaster Gate. Desayunos muy completos. El personal excelente, hablan varios idiomas entre ellos el español. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy confortables.Comment of B. JUAN VICENTE , Spain the 2016-10-02

"Good base for our Easter break"
The hotel is in a very nice, safe location opposite scenic Hyde Park (go parrakeat spotting!) Buses stop outside and it's an easy walk to several tube stations giving you easy access to just about everywhere! The communal areas of the hotel are very welcoming and of a high standard. Check in was quick and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were in room 569 which had all we needed for our base in the capital - comfy twin beds with fresh white linen, a safe, tv, a hairdryer and a clean bathroom with decent shower. (But I was slightly concerned that we were rung twice from reception to ask if the room was OK in the space of about 10 mins of arriving). Looking at some of the other reviews I think we were unfortunate to be allocated one of the older rooms. Our room was in need of refurbishment with tired chipped decor and a wood single glazed window which I had to stuff with card during the week to stop it constantly rattling. Luckily we were overlooking the garden at the rear, so there wasn't alot of street noise. There is a constant generator type noise day and night though and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbour's conversations. There's no extractor fan in the bathroom which made things a bit steamy! The tea making facilities were a bit meagre with only two tea bags in the tin...probably let you have more if you ask though. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choices from fresh fruit, cereals, full english etc and the staff are very attentive and friendly. All in all the Corus makes a great base for busy travellers like us who just need a clean bathroom, a comfy bed and a scrummy breakfast to set them up for busy days and nights on the town.
Just on route back from a 3 night stay at Corus Hotel and can't praise the hotel enough! Room was spacious and had everything needed, was clean and tidy and got a great nights sleep as we didn't hear a thing from the other rooms! The hotel is in a great location as Hyde park is on your doorstep and Paddington station just around the corner, so easy access to the tube and quick to kings cross. Only downside to the hotel was the price of food and drinks, a continental breakfast was £13 each with an additional £5 charge per tray if you wanted it in bed! A large glass of merlot cost £9, however, Holloway had a large selection of shops at great prices so not far to travel for an all day full English for £4.95! Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again!
"Good Friday , night away"
Very nice hotel, friendly & helpful staff . We were upgraded without requesting,to an executive double room, which was a nice surprise . Sadly not enough time to use the bar & facilities on offer, but they did look good. We would would definitely stay again. Many thanks.
"A truly gracious hotel"
This was our second stay at the Corus, and was even better than the first. It started with an upgrade to a 7th floor room with a wonderful view of the park and all the amenities one could ask for: an espresso maker with an assortment of coffee pods, teas and even hot chocolate, gleaming white bathrobes, wooden hangers in the closet... I could go on. The breakfast was excellent, and the fresh fruit and on-request poached eggs were especially welcome. Wifi was consistent strong. And as other reviewers have said, the staff was remarkably welcoming and helpful.
"Just a few days relaxing in London."
