The Corus Hotel Hyde Park is in a perfect location overlooking Hyde Park and only a short distance from the shops of Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and the bright lights of Theatreland. The establishment is only 2 minutes away from Lancaster Gate Tube Station and close to Paddington Train Station.

"Great breakfast try and sit in the bay window"
Reception as you would expect good, hotel room tiny, bathroom even smaller but all worked okay. I liked the atmosphere lots of visitors from around the world gave it a buzz lifting what would otherwise be a dull stay. Shame the nearest tube was being refurbished not the hotels fault but a bit annoying all the same. Breakfast was enjoyable, liked the porridge, could have a lot more coffee. Perhaps leave a jug of coffee on the table' I sat in the window reading a complimentary paper nibbling and drinking coffee as London rushed by. I guess this is a typical London hotel but on the day I quite liked it.
"Birthday weekend. "
Came here for my birthday weekend and was very happy with the hotel overall. The rooms are quite small, but I liked this. Was very clean and modern. The only thing I would moan about is the room got really really hot even though our air conditioning was on. Hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was also yummy. There is a pub right next door to the hotel so if you want somewhere to go for food and a nice drink then you won't have to travel far. There is also a little supermarket next door (expensive) if you need to get anything. We would come back here again.
"Good Choice While On Holiday"
My daughter & I was just there yesterday. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel lobby was beautiful and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Dinner was wonderful as well, with a pianist and a very nice server (Donna). We enjoyed being able to walk right across the street into Hyde Park for a quick stroll to Kensington Palace. The room was small but it was adequate for our quick 2 day stay.
"Excellent location, good value, great breakfast, small room but adequate"
My wife and I spent two days visiting London in late Feb. 2017, and were very satisfied with our accommodations at the Corus Hotel Hyde Park. The hotel is literally across the street from the gate to Hyde Park. The Lancaster Gate tube station is currently closed (until Aug. 2017) which just meant a 5 minute walk to either the Queensway or Paddington stations. Our booking included the breakfast, which was exceptional. As for the room, it was quite small, so clothes stayed in luggage for the two days (not really worth unpacking for 2 days). Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Corus was a good value, ideal location, and a place we can recommend to those looking for an affordable hotel within reasonable walking distance or a short tube ride to many of downtown London's main attractions.
"Conveniently located hotel"
This hotel is ideally situated for exploring hyde park, kensington palace (15 min walk) and Buckingham palace (30 min walk). It has a nice bright, clean reception area with a pianist in the evening. We had a good welcome and our room was ready at 11am when we arrived. We shared an executive room between 3 of us on the ground floor. This was a very good sized room with a big bathroom with 2 sinks, toiletries provided, slippers, dressing gowns and tea and coffee machine. Lighting in the room wasnt great and at first we were unsure about the position of our room right on the corner of the hotel and directly on street level. The room, however, turned out to be fine and no noise kept us awake. Beds were comfy and cosy. Staff were nice. Breakfast was lovely - good choice of cereal, cooked full breakfast as well as pastries. We would recommend walking out the hotel, turn right and go to the top of the road. There are many nice looking restaurants that we didnt discover heading to Paddington station to leave london. We ate in an italian up from the hotel but wished we had travelled elsewhere. La meena cafe along the road from the hotel was very nice for a sandwich. Would recommend this hotel.
