We only stayed one night but we had a wonderful time 👍 You should book a table for dinner when you book your room . We really enjoyed our stay and aperitif with a wonderful view of the valley and mountains as far as you could see 😉
Very nice hotel, we asked to change our room because our window was directly facing the parkng area, and had to keep the curtains closed all the time, but they said no. I think for 350€/night there should be some exceptions... One night at dinner we asked our waiter recomendation for an italian bottle of wine, when he was about to serve the wine we asked for the price... almost 100€... they should say the prices before, we didn't like this at all. They offer a taxi service downtown since the hotel is about 20 minutes walk. Spa is small but very nice and not crowded.
"Great as a ski, or walking resort.."
Unfortunately we didnt go to ski, we were on a coach tour so it took a long time to get to other places each day,Verona and Lake Garda, for example.. the hotel commands excellent views as it is situated ,amongst the mountains.....The view from the top of the chairlift was breathtaking!! Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.. Rooms excellent, bathrobe and slippers...(we kept the slippers as we used them to the excellent pool, and sauna)..There is a gym too...Town is 15 minutes downhill, and its a steep haul back up to the hotel...Super shop just down the road, full of ideas for gifts to take home... Evening meals were impossible to describe.. There were different foods all over the place on four different tables, plenty of choice but one evening, everything was cold! Cold spinach is not to be welcomed..We had one meal which was table served, out of six evening meals...Staff excellent, nothing too much trouble, pillows HUGE,I used my blowup cushion to sleep on...If you dont like a huge pillow, take your own, AND your own kettle...Overall a super hotel, if its in the right place for what you intend to be doing..
Hotel on the edge of town.. easy access from the main roads . Rooms well fitted out (We stayed in 2 different rooms) Views from both were stunning . Staff were excellent (Special mention for Tomas at the main desk.. very helpful :-))
"10/10 for this holiday!"
I stayed here recently with a group of nine on a walking holiday booked through Topflight. This has been put to the top of our hillwalking venues. All of the personnel - reception, restaurant staff, barmen, chambermaids and shuttle service drivers - are extremely professional and courteous. The hotel was lovely, absolutely spotless and approximately 10 minutes walk to the town. There was a free shuttle service for those who preferred not to walk up or down. Wifi was free but not always available in the rooms. Food was superb – beautifully presented - 4 courses each night with a selection per course. This sometimes caused a little confusion but the staff were always attentive and responsive – nothing was too much trouble. There were wonderful singers in the bar for 3 of the nights we stayed. Large buffet breakfast – would have been nice to have fresh fruit and some muesli though. The walking guides Alexandro & Andrea were excellent - very friendly and professional with a vast knowledge of the area. We had a few drinks 'apres walk' in the Dolomiti bar which served endless free snacks with our drinks. Lovely spa facilities – pool, steam room and sauna. Robes and slippers provided in the room. A small personal preference would have been to have tea/coffee facilities in the room for when you returned after a long hike. I would highly recommend this hotel and venue.
