"Very polite stuff "
Polite and friendly stuff, awesome breakfast and very good lunch and dinner as well. Spacious rooms, good experience all over. Kind of far away from the center, but close to the metro station ; huge mall in the vicinity.
"What a view"
New hotel near airport excellent staff and high quality rooms. Bar was great within the trees. Next to metro line so easy access to city centre about 15 mins. Train also to airport about 10 mins. Shopping centre next door with cinema. Perfect!
"Still a gem of a hotel!"
I stayed stayed here previously for leisure in September of last year (and I left a review here on TripAdvisor at the end of the stay). Well, following that wonderful stay, I couldn't wait to stay here again and so I'm currently sat in the Club Lounge writing this review. Sadly though, I will be checking out on Monday - so soon! I'm really pleased to say that the hotel is still absolutely flawless. On arrival, I received a really warm welcome from Martin, a supervisor on the front desk. Despite being a reward night stay (where the IHG privileges do not apply), Martin immediately acknowledge my IHG Spire status. He went straight on to the computer and read out / confirmed my preferences (high floor, away from elevator) and said "let me find a great room for you". We were upgraded to an executive room on one of the very top floors of the hotel (floor 23) and provided club lounge access - amazing! Martin then said he was here for the weekend and to let him know if he could do anything for us. When we arrived at our room, the floor plan on the back of the door clearly showed it was the largest room on the floor. I have to say, this hotel really impresses me with the way it treats Spire members - especially on a reward stay; probably one of the very best in the network. Other IHG properties could really learn a lot from these guys. All the staff here have been wonderful; the hotel is super modern and clean. The club lounge is kept very well stocked of complimentary beverages (soft drinks, tea, coffee, beer) throughout the day, along with some light nibbles. In the evening, there is still an extensive selection of wines offered - maybe around 9 different varieties, along with a selection of spirits and beers. There's also a nice selection of meats, cheeses, breads, olive oils and other accompaniments (caper-berries, pesto, sundried tomatoes, etc). In the morning, a hearty breakfast is available - the usual bacon, sausages, etc, but also continental and nordic options (including curried herring!). They will also make eggs to order, along with pancakes, etc. The location is actually really good. Some have commented here that there isn't much around the hotel itself. There's a huge shopping mall (Fields) a few minutes walk away (with plenty of good choices in the food court on the top floor). There's also the Royal Arena concert hall just minutes away. Finally, you have the metro and train station right outside that will get you in to the heart of Copenhagen in about 10 minutes. Just perfect. Today we went out to the Lagkagehuset bakery. On returning, Martin, who checked us in the day earlier, remembered us - asked how our stay was so far, and asked where we had been today. He told us a bit about the bakery we went to and the owner. He was very hospitable and caring; Martin is definitely a great ambassador for the hotel and the IHG brand. All in all, this remains one of my favorite IHG properties. Thank you again for another wonderful stay and extending such a great welcome.
Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers - One of the best Hotels I have visit. The Breakfast was excellent - nothing mising. And the room: You have a wondelful wiev from stage no. 22. Very good bed. Good service over all.
I stayed here at the start of January but I haven't had the time to review this hotel yet. Me and my dad stayed here for a 2 night city break that I got as my Christmas present. We arrived at Copenhagen airport in terminal 3 and the hotel shuttle bus is outside terminal 2 at the multi story car-park. The crowne plaza sign is tiny so keep your eyes peeled, very hard to see in the dark. We arrived in reception to be greeted by very friendly staff. My Dad is an IHG platinum member so we got a room upgrade on floor 18, but it was a king-sized bed so we headed back down to reception and asked for at twin room. the staff were very keen to get us the best twin room hotel. So we got a room on the top floor with fabulous views over the city. The room was fabulous, big, very modern and bright. The bathroom was also very modern and and the shower was a great power shower. The club lounge was nice and quiet, but it was a little under-attended as my dad says when he is in the club lounge in Newcastle there is always a member of staff about to help out but the man here stuck his head out the door every half an hour. The breakfast was in the main dining room and not the club lounge. The breakfast was good and very well stocked. The 'forest' area was deserted, it seemed a conference centre with a restaurant. the restaurant was extortionate for example things like a burger were about 250kr. It is a bit of a distance from the city centre but the metro and train station are just out the back door. The hotel itself is fab and i would definitely recommend it.
