The Crowne Plaza Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel at the airport is the favored choice among cruise-goers, business travelers and event attendees, located less than one mile from Ft. Lauderdale Airport (FLL), Port Everglades and the Broward County Convention Center.

"Awesome staff & comfortable room"
We checked in early the day before our Cruise departed, Claudia was wonderful. She upgraded our room to the top floor and expedited our room's cleaning to allow for early check in. We were provided a free drink ticket a piece for the restaurant while we waited. Claudia was also very helpful in arranging a taxi to Las Olas boulevard for a wonderful evening of walking, shopping and dining. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Rooftop pool is inviting and refreshing. We highly recommend this hotel.
"Nice little restaurant in the Crowne Plaza hotel"
Our holiday inn express didn't have a restaurant but they offered a free shuttle to the Kiki restaurant at their nearby sister hotel, the Crowne Plaza. Kiki's is on the 5th floor and was easy to find. We had a really nice meal, paella actually, that was deliciously prepared with lobster, clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. It was very reasonably priced and the service was fast and friendly. We even received a free drink voucher supplied by our hotel. I will definitely try this restaurant again.
"Crowne plaza Fort Lauderdale"
Just finished our second stay at the Crowned Plaza in Fort Lauderdale. Again just like last year it was outstanding. From the smiling gentleman who greets you at the door to all the people at the front desk it is a joy. They seem to go out of your way to make your stay pleasant. They arranged our transportation to our cruise ship and from our ship after our cruise was over. If you wish to rent a car Hertz is not 60 yards from the front desk. The restaurant has very good food at every meal. The waiter staff is a little slow for me, nothing to be concerned with. The pool area and all hotel areas are clean and well kept. If you are talking about cruise or just want a place near the airport you can't go wrong.
I stayed at the hotel one night before going on my cruise in December. The hotel is close to both the airport and cruise port. Keisha at the front desk was very helpful with giving us advice on eating at the hotel and transportation to the cruise port. The room was a nice spacious suite with a king bed. The restaurant in the hotel is nice food is good and drinks are good. They had a buffet breakfast on the weekends. They also have a shuttle that will take you to the cruise port but it is expensive better off taking a uber. I would stay here again if going on a cruise
"Great hotel for a pre or post cruise stay."
The hotel is just down the street from the cruise port. There is an independent shuttle service that offers rides to the cruise terminal for $8 each. We opted for a cab that cost us $20. We arrived at the airport and called for the hotel shuttle that came within 15 minutes. The driver was very pleasant. The hotel lobby is quite small. We were checked in by a young man named Kevin who made us feel very welcome and asked what kind of view we would like before he assigned us our room. We were given vouchers for free drinks at the hotel's restaurant. Our room was spacious, clean and well decorated. There is a mini fridge with coffee and tea making equipment. The bathroom had no tub and the shower floor was extremely slippery. The hotel has no recycling bins in the rooms. There is a pool and a tuck shop on the 5th floor. The tuck shop also sells a small selection of beer and wine. The pool is very nice and a good sun catcher. There is a good sized patio near the pool and one section is for smokers. Sadly, the smell from that area carries over to the pool. Our room had a very noisy fan. It was so loud, we had to turn it off to sleep. You could also hear any conversation and sounds from the hall. We stayed 2 nights and our room was not cleaned until very late in the afternoon. We would stay here again pre cruise. Having a restaurant on premises is a good convenience as there are few places within walking distance to dine.
