Very nice hotel, close to the airport. Very friendly staff. Decent food. Clean and comfortable. Thought it was over priced considering that it feels a bit isolated. Nice view of the mountains! A quiet place.
"Good and does the job for business - at a price"
Used the shuttle from the airport - only a 10 minutes trip so a taxi driver will look angry at you if you tried to hitch him for that ride. Check in super efficient and got a room towards the garden / backside ( prob because of my IHG Gold card). Room was small and so was the bathroom but both with a very nice space efficient layout. Good bed and I had no problems with noise. Internet was fast enough. Breakfast had a good variety and the coffee was pretty ok too. Bus 10 is almost right in front of the hotel and the provided free transport card ( given in the hotel reception) works well. If you want to go to central Geneva - and if you dont read their funny language - then just stay on that bus till you get to the stop near central station (Geneva Cornavin Train Station). Check out was as fast and the check in - no problems and i hopped onboard the shuttle and was in the airport about 10 minutes later.
"Room fine but if you are flying early stay somewhere else"
This is your basic airport hotel. The room was fine, we were on floor 8 so we had the little area with snacks and drinks. that was fine as well. Here is the problem. We had a 7:00 flight. The shuttle does not start running until 6:00. I have never stayed at an ariport hotel where the shuttle wasn't either 24 hour or stated at 5;00 AM. So we had to hire a taxi to take us 5 blocks to the airport. In addition checking out at 5:00 AM or so there were ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE TRYING TO CHECK OUT. And how many folks at the front desk to help' One. It was a mess. So if you want to stay an airport hotel staff up and make it a real airport hotel.
"Next to Geneva Airport with a Free Shuttle Service"
Stayed here for one night due to an early morning flight the next day. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside has all been redone and is very nice. Our room on the 8th floor (#839) is on the Club Room Floor and included a happy hour with tapas and wine from 5-7 PM. When we checked in we were given bus passes and instructions of how to get to the main tourist area downtown. I can see why Rick Steve's travel books don't even mention Geneva- there's not much to look at except for super expensive stores for watches and jewelry. Switzerland is the most expensive country in Europe and dining is expensive- more than double what it is in Italy for the same thing . Our room rate was 300SF and did not include breakfast. I would stay here again if I needed quick access to the airport but overall I would skip Geneva as a place to visit. However the hotel was great.
Nice location, close to the airport and not too far from the city. Bus number 10 stops right in front of the hotel and can take you downtown in 15-20 minutes. The rooms are not very spacious but are clean and modern.
