The hotel is located in the legendary El Hamra street in center Beirut. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is well equipped. Rooms were not very spacious but were clean with good furniture. Breakfast was very rich with international and local specialities.
"Very comfortable pleasant stay"
We book in the last moment just to stay over night. We're surprised by offered extra 2 child coats for free. Everything is up to standards, very professional staff, all our requests were down in a minutes time. Clean, warm, reach breakfast with even personal nespresso machine.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Paul from reception checked us in with my friends. Very accommodating although our room doesnt have ay views but only walls of other buildings we can see by our balcony :( They have good facilities, clean room and comfortable beds. Staff are always ready to give you a hand :)
"Beiru, Paris of the east"
Amazing, spectacular, awesome! The Jeita Caves with the stalagmites and stalactites were so beautiful. I had seen them in pictures and taught about them as a Geography teacher for years, and I always longed to see them, but I never expected such beauty and magnificence. Wow! It was incredible. Beirut is lovely too - the malls, the buildings, the streets were all so beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was so atmospheric like any other European city. Everything about the trip was lovely and my husband and I had a wonderful time. Our trip to Byblos, Chouf Mountain and the beautiful cathedral from which we got an amazing view of the surrounding area, the cedar trees and the Emir's palace where we stepped back in time. Everything was just perfect! Crowne Plaza in the Hamra area was wonderful. Having stayed at one in Muscat a few years ago we were delighted with the service, the ambience of all the restaurants, the room which had a brilliant view of the cityscape, brooding mountains in the distance and the vast expanse of the sea. We absolutely loved it! The only drawback was the weather. It was terribly cold, windy and rained almost all the time. Ironically, of coursethe weather improved on the last day when we travelled back home!
