Hotel has large rooms with good facilities. Located on hamra street surrounded by shops. You can walk from here to the corniche and to the beirut souks with 30 mins. Has good gym facilities and pool. Breakfast has a large selection and the staff are very friendly and professional.
"Great location in Hamra street"
The Crowne Plaza Beirut has a great location in famous Hamra street. You can basically walk around from there to go to the Corniche, visit the AUB campus, and even the marina area (Zaytuna Bay). Good facilities, clean and fast internet connection. As the hotel does not have its own gym, you can access to the club next door which is awesome; Technogym equipment, very modern and plenty of space. The hotel has a nice pool at the top floor with a bar where you can watch the sunset at night. Housekeeping was very efficient with a turn down service. Really appreciated. The only negative point was the breakfast. Not up to Crowne Plaza standard to my opinion. The egg station left much to be desired and the quality of food was sub-par. There are lot of options for F&B on Hamra street with local restaurants and coffee shops (Starbucks and Costa) Beirut is a great and vibrant city with huge potential. The nightlife is absolutely amazing. Prices are similar to Dubai so not that cheap...
We arrived late at night we were so tired the way the receptionist welcomed us with warm welcoming & smile makes us so comfortable the check in was so professional and smooth. Nice location in the middle of centre Hamra . Good choice
"Best Hotel ever"
Very nice Hotel. Located in the heart of beirut in Hamra shopping st. Clean rooms and reception staff are so friendly, they make u feel as if u are at home. Top 21 restaurant is fantastic with a panoramic view to the city and the sea. Thanks to every one there.
I stayed with my wife 3months ago at CROWN PLAZA BEIRUT ALTHOUGH IT IS A 5 Star and on a central beirutlocation Hamra st bI WAS DISMAYED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON House keeping was dismal/NO TOILETRIES FOR A DOUBLE ROOM 2 I FOUND the face towels torn down I tried to speak to Gmanager ,But he was not available 3 when I tried to rrview the Gym.I was told it is annexed to the hotel but under seperate management In shortnthis mau be due to the low tourism in Lebanon lately especially thst Gulf and Suadi Tourists were not allowrd to the country then for security reasons THIS IS CONTRARY TO LEBANESE HOTELS AND HOSPITALITY MAYBE I PICKED THE WRONG HOTEL
