"Comfortable with good service..."
Check-in was fast and efficient. Staff was professional and friendly. Clean and spacious room with a nice comfy bed. Concierge was very helpful in mailing a big parcel. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. Location is a bit out of the way; plan ahead if you are meetings around peak traffic hours. Beside a shopping mall with many restaurants. Overall not bad.
"Very posh and comfortable, our needs were met"
This was a great hotel to stay in and excellent value. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were super. The gym and pool were excellent - the gym even included a squat rack. The breakfast buffet was stellar at 150 Yuan (~$20) per person. It was just absolutely stunning. We'd definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again in the future. The hotel is located right outside of a mall which also has a grocery story attached.
"Very good hotel, bad localization"
Stayed for one day in this hotel (dez/2016). Hotel is for sure a 4 to 5-star. Very large areas, huge breakfast place. Didn't visit the gym or swimming pool. Staff is very polite and helpful. Room is big and also the bathroom is very nice. TV got some decent english channels (not many) and WIFI is also ok. The only problem is the bed, which is very very hard (solid rock) and my shoulder was hurting a lot after one day sleep. Maybe there is a different room/bed available, but since I was in a hurry I didn't ask to change. Location is a bit away from any known place, you will have to use a taxi/train to get anywhere (Sight-seen, supermarket, etc), there is no way to do it by foot Concierge is good, but they didn't know how to guide me to take the S2 train to Balading(Great Wall) and only offered the bus tour or taxi. I had to research on google how to get the S2 in order to save some money. Overall a very good experience.
Stayed at this hotel when I was on a business trip. Was very impressed on entering the room, very clean and well lit. The room had a minibar which was cool and an iron with table which helped me to be dressed well for my meeting as some of shirts were with creases after the long flight. Bathroom was huge and had a bathtub and shower space which was nice. The hotel provided a bath robe which was new to me as many hotels don't and it was really comfortable. Travelling to visit the tourist spots is difficult and the hotel is quite far and in my experience the hotel does not have options to arrange for tour visits which I would love to do as I had one free day. Breakfast was great with a mix of continental and Chinese cuisine which was superb. There is the Aegean mall just behind the hotel for a quick haircut or shopping and food joints. Enjoyed my stay but would have wished the hotel would be able to arrange sight seeing in a little pocket friendly was for their guests.
"great room, but breakfast was a mess!"
the room was comfortable and clean (5 star!) however, the breakfast buffet the next morning was a mess (3 star). there was lots of food variety with asian and western choices, which was appreciated. however, the service was not good. 1. one coffee machine' no drip coffee' our party waited about 45 minutes for coffee, and we only finally got it because everyone else was done with breakfast (we were one of the last people left in the dining room when we finally got coffee) and because one of my friends kept checking in at the coffee counter. 2. i'm not one of those people who think that the whole world should speak english, but i think the staff at a hotel with a great reputation in a large capital city should at least know some words to communicate with international guests. even communicating in my basic mandarin was tough. 3. the lay-out of the space does not make sense: there are delicious soupy items, but you have to cross the room to get a bowl or a mug to put it in. 4. the juice bar ran out of both juice and glasses. another 20 minute wait. 5. water for the table. again, i understand that most chinese don't drink with their meals, but many people abroad who would stay at this hotel chain do. i have only ever written one other negative review on trip advisor. i really usually am easy going, but the service this morning was sub-par for a hotel of this reputation and nightly cost. my friends and i all live in beijing, but we may not be recommending this hotel to visitors.
