A stylish hotel in Leeds city centre, Crowne Plaza Leeds hotel benefits from a central location, 10 minutes' walk from Leeds railway station. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the M1 and M62 motorways via the adjacent inner ring road. Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is eight miles away, and an airport bus stops directly outside the hotel.

"Ibis Budget with IHG Crowne Plaza branding"
My apologies to Accor. Ibis Budget would be a step up Suggestions: Reinvest in new mattresses If you advertise room service till 11am then deliver on the promise. It's dishonest and as a customer, frustrating (2245 attempted order) Sort the plumbing. It's not 1970. Power showers are the norm in even the most basic hotels. Not so here. A piddle at best. Sort out access and ask your service delivery vehicles to respect the temporary traffic signals. Clean room thoroughly. Dusty in parts. Overall our experience was of a dated eurobox room factory with one or two very friendly team members yet a lucklustre, wholly unimaginative (unempowered') management and poor attention to detail. A long way off CP usual brand. No plan to return. As HH Diamond, and ICH Plat members the HH option looks the way to go in Leeds.
Having never stayed at a Crown Plaza before I was unsure what to expect. My sister and I arrived at 15.45 after a long train journey and decent walk from the station to find our room was not ready. However the receptionist gave us 2 drinks vouchers so we soothed our throats and our feet in the lounge. We didn't have to wait long and our bags were brought to us while we had our wine. Good sized room. Well equipped and chocolates on the pillow. A nice touch. Plenty of white fluffy towels and dressing gown. Quiet room with free wi if and air con. Enjoyed a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend.
I arrived at 1400 we booked 3 rooms 435 /325 /323 all this rooms are not be ready to dirty, I RING to the reception no one answers my call, this is not acceptable at all . And all we move to another room after 15 minute.
"Bit like home"
I'm an irregular regular at the Crowne Plaza and feel very much at home here. The rooms are comfortable, the staff very friendly and happy to go that extra mile. The breakfast choice is good but I rarely eat breakfast. The location is great because it's within easy walking distance of the main shopping area. Only problem I had this time was with my phone in the room as I couldn't make direct outside calls. As I live in Asia I didn't want to use my mobile an incur heavy charges. Reception and maintenance tried to help but it couldn't be fixed before I left. But it was only a minor inconvenience.
"Avoid - Lack of attention to detail spoilt stay- avoid"
Booked for a conference in Leeds in late October 2016, for three nights. Encouraged by 'fabulous' reviews on another site. I arrived quite late aware they served bar meals until eleven, at 10:40 was told they only did sandwiches or curry, so I had to ask a more senior person who arranged for a Pizza. The young barman then turned off the sound on the news programme i was watching quietly in the bar without asking anyone and went home. The room's heating didn't work and it was a chilly night, so the room was very cold. A very nice chap from reception came up but only spoke Spanish which I don't, so was unable to assist. In the morning I realised there was very low pressure in the shower. I asked at reception for a new room due to the heating problem, the receptionist had to ask someone more senior, who arranged it for that evening. I asked is that all you will be doing and she then offered free dinner, which was appreciated. Went to new room, completely unpacked (unwisely) and prepared for a bath after a busy day, to discover the bath plug mechanism was broken so I couldn't fill it. Rang reception, two ' very pleasant chaps in suits came and poked it and then offered me a third room in which the bath took 40 mins to fill. Can't be bothered to complain again as feel like Mr Angry, but it is £125 a night, not the cheapest and this is unacceptable and just careless. Most galling is their strap-line 'the small things make a big difference' don't they just...........and parking is very expensive.
