"Lovely Night Away"
I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a night away. The car park had plenty of spaces so this wasn't a worry. On check-in, the staff where friendly and explained to me how to get to my room. The corridors where clean and so was the room. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment which is welcomed as the room was looking a little tired, some lights weren't working but this wasn't a major issue. The bathroom was nice and after heading off site for some food, we returned and use the bar. The barman was friendly and the drink prices average for this sort of hotel. After a great nights sleep, we went down for breakfast which was really tasty and the staff where once again friendly. After relaxing in the room for a while, we decided to check out, the staff member was once a gain friendly and very nice. We hope to return again soon.
"Lovely well situated hotel"
This is a well kept and comfortable hotel within short walking distance of the centre of Leeds. The car parking is a bonus for a city centre hotel. The room w had was comfortable, clean and well furnished. The extra little touches help (chocolate on your bed, free biscuits and robes) as many hotels seem to cut these out nowadays. Staff were very efficient and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was spot on and very easy system for getting a taxi. Would use this hotel for central Leeds 10 mins walk to rail station, Trinity centre for instance.
"Short business trip to Leeds"
Nice quiet hotel located not far from Leeds city center. The hotel is quite spacious and just going through renovations while building up a club lounge on the 6th floor. I arrived rather early on the first day so couldn't bear the noise coming from the 6th floor and changed my room to the second floor. Breakfast is average. Dinner was very nice. The staff is very kind and polite. Check in and out was quick and efficient. The spa was fully booked by guests from outside the hotel. So having a spa in this hotel while you're on a short business trip doesn't really mean much since you need to book a long time in advance which is longer than the time you've booked your ticket or being told about the trip. Overall cute hotel - I'll definitely stay there again.
"Never again "
On return to the room the whole corridor and our room which we have 2 kids in smells of cannabis I complained to reception and also to 3 members of staff in the corridor who didn't really care and just walked off even thou she said it was from the room she had just delivered room service too, An absolute disgrace do not stop in this hotel especially if you have children it is a 1star drug hotel
"Not as good as other Crowne Plazas"
We have stopped in several Crowne Plazas across the country and this one didn't match up to the others. For example I placed my jeans on top of the wardrobe whilst unpacking and they came down covered in dust. The breakfast on the first morning: the food counters were not topped up promptly i.e. No bacon!, coffee over brewed. There is also building work going on of which no mention was made either on booking or at check in. On the whole not up the level I've come to expect.
