"On a school night!"
Stayed here last week...on a school night. A special treat , we were meeting friends in London for a surprise birthday. Made use of the Club lounge on 2 occasions. Could have done with help up the entrance stairs with my suitcases.. my husband had gone to park the car...Clean room, good location for popping to Harrods and the museums. Toiletries supplied were of a good quality. Shower water pressure was a bit hit and miss as was the temperature. We had a good time in London. This was a good choice location wise to stay for one night. Would have been good if suggested car parking was put on their website, you can park at the Holiday Inn, we had parked quite a way away...a big of a nuisance. All in all was good. Thanks.
"Lovely hotel Great location"
Just a one night overnight. Good location across from Grosvenor underground Very pleasant ambient hotel Very friendly check in staff Spotless rooms and reasonable size for London All at a good price. Will certainly use again
"Great location for our needs"
We chose this hotel primarily on location and being an IHG member - we were not disappointed. The room and bathroom were both very good and staff very friendly. The buffet-style breakfast was also good and set us up for the day. Only minor drawback was outside noise. Our room was at the front of the hotel with a nice bay window but you could hear the outside road noise. Not a surprise being on the main A4 into/out of London and they have tried hard with sound proofing, but might be worth asking for a room at the back of the hotel if noise is important to you - we slept fine. All the main museums are nearby, plus the Albert Hall and the Gloucester Road tube station (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines) was across the road.
A quick visit to london for 4 adults. This is a small but very convenient and nicely appointed Hotel. The transportation is very close, museums and church are walkable distances. We used Uber most times for transportation and they were great. We took train/cab from Heathrow but a better choice for (4 adults) would have been a pre-arranged driver. The walk from a/p to taxi was at least 10 minutes, dragging suitcases. Took a 10 hr bus trip (Evan Evan Tours) to Stratford, Oxford and Warwick Castle. They pick you up at a nearby hotel and we enjoyed the bus ride greatly....no stops for rest area so visit the restroom before you get on the bus. Overall, a great mini vacation.
"Family City Trip"
The Location of our Hotel are very unique, near Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall and Harrods Store. It was a perfect place for a great stay with Family. Unterground Cromwell Road is 5 Minutes away. A walk to the stunning Harrods Store is about 20 Min by foot. To London Heathrow take about 40 Minutes Time with the Picadilly Line. The employee are very friendly, the rooms are very clean. Especially the Hotel Garden on the back from the house, is really amacing with a nice look to the Church. Free Wlan with good speed. Near the reception it is the Hotel Lobby, but only available for Rewards Customer. Free Coffee,a lot of various Trinks and two Computer Working Spaces are available.
