"Middle of the Road"
We stayed here as part of a lengthy tour. I note that to explain that we hit a LOT of hotels and as hotels go, this was good. The room had kleenex!! Sure scoff, but when you're going from one hotel to another, you notice the little things. It has a chain and a deadbolt on the door. There are no bath mats or washcloths, there is an iron/board. It had a wonderful magnifying mirror in the bathroom, but the light was far too dim to take advantage of it. The beds had very, very soft mattresses and low. In our room (we had double beds), the top mattress kept sliding off the bottom one and we'd find ourselves very close to being pitched off on to the floor at times. We got our card and had a heck of a time trying to get in the room. When we pulled on the door knob, it came off in our hands. We had to get someone to come help us. We thought that it was just us being clumsy, but once, going down in the elevator, another woman in the elevator with us was going down because she couldn't get her card to work. Another time, as we had just finished opening our room, we heard another couple coming down the hall complaining about the card/door situation - obviously it's a common refrain. This wasn't the best place on our tour, but it most assuredly was the not the worst. We figured we were in ROME, and nothing, but nothing, short of a really catastrophic stay was going to ruin our vacation. I would stay here again.
"Very average hotel, far from the city"
We stayed here for 2 weekend nights, arriving on Friday we were welcomed by construction work noise from the room next to our, which lasted for the entire afternoon. After calling and complaining about it the noise stopped but manager said it could happen they will work on Saturday too. Besides that, hotel was good value for money. Located maybe bit too far from the city, so be prepared to use public bus for 1.50€ per one way ticket.
"The best customer service "
Stayed here out last night in Rome with points!! My husband is Spire with ihg. We were upgraded with one of the 2 rooms to a large suite. We had a problem with a passport situation and the front desk was so accommodating helping us and treating us so kindly! It is not close to attractions but heard they have a shuttle. Bar was great and rooms clean and a amazing staff
"Good Hotel but..."
Bright and big rooms. Good Wifi. Spacious bathroom. Big breakfast area. There is one small thing though - their balcony sliding door did not have a screen. A fly came flying in the room. We gave up trying to find it and shoo it out. Would have been perfect to have a screen door aside from the glass door. The hotel also had lots of semi private spaces in the ground floor including a library. It had more than one restaurant. Good food too.
"Nice but far"
Hotel is very nice as facility, workers are friendly and breakfast and meal was nice. There is beautiful swimming pool in hotel which is open air. Hotel has parking lot and it is possible to find taxi in hotel all the time. Around hotel it is mostly residental area so there is nothing much to see. In order to go to center you need to take taxi or public transportation. I have prefered to walk from center to hotel once but it was not so much interesting to walk. It is about 5-6km from Vatican City to hotel. What I like most there was balcony in the room and nice hotel garden with many trees.
