"Already feeling like a valued guest and havnt arrived yet!"
I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel for next week after reading the great reviews on TA. I read here that the hotel will arrange car service from the hotel to pick up at the airport. Thanks to a lovely lady named Soffia, all of the arrangements were made with much ease over email and I'm so hopeful that all of the other staff are as pleasant and efficient to work with. The transfer cost is only $40 USD. Am so looking forward to staying at the hotel and having a wonderful time in Santiago.
"High end, but worth it if you want luxury"
We stayed here two nights and found our room to be vey comfortable and well appointed. The room has all the amenities one would expect except bath robes. The breakfast is complete. It seems to cater to foreign visitors; I did not see many Chileans. One word of caution: everything in the mini-bar will cost you, including the bottles of water, which are not complimentary. However, when I complained at checkout, they were readily comped. The location for the older part of town is excellent. Great service by all the staff!!
"Great central location in Santiago, but, in the end, it's just a Holiday Inn"
The hotel is on the main boulevard through the center of the city, walking distance to many attractions. It's clean and functional. Front desk service was very good. But it is a a very plain, somewhat worn, American style establishment. The sleeping area was large enough and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom had peeling paint and poor ventilation. Water pressure in the shower was very low and the shower head was fixed, not adjustable in any way. The hotel lobby/bar is quite large, with a nightly happy hour buffet that is fairly expensive. The bar has some live entertainment but of average quality. There is a very small pool on the roof, a hot tub with lukewarm water temperature, and a sauna that needs a half hour notice to be activated. The breakfast buffet was average, but the staff did have trouble keeping enough clean plates on hand to meet the demand. It's an OK hotel, especially if you want an American style place, but nothing about it tells you you're in Chile.
"Great mid-range hotel in an accessible location"
My mom and I loved staying at this hotel for our recent trip to Chile. The view from our room of Santiago was stunning. While the facilities are a bit older, the price point was amazing. One of the best qualities about the hotel was the delicious complimentary breakfast that we received with our accommodations. We truly looked forward to eating there every morning together. The hotel is very conveniently located in Santiago Central and it was very easy to get around town.
