"Holiday Feel in the City"
Valet parking and check in was as you'd expect as such a hotel. Booked a room in one of the beach view summer houses. These small blocks have about a dozen rooms each over two floors each with their own reception and staff. Room was good and as expected for a 5* resort in Dubai. There was a happy hour from 6 where drinks were served in the courtyard of the summer house. Great beach and gardens and felt very much like being on holiday. Breakfast was OK and there is a huge selection of bars and eateries around the vast site. Great weekend break.
"Still a great hotel"
Returned to this great hotel for a break after Christmas. Just what we needed.WArm weather, great food and of course best of all the staff. From the moment we arrived we were looked after to the highest standard. The buggy drivers and abra drivers all took time to ask how we were and whether we were having a good time. Special mention to Sunnu who looked after us around the pool and was always willing to engage in conversation and let us know the weather forecast. Caitlyn (life guard). Who was so "bubbly" and happy with the biggest smile. Rachel our butler who was always on hand in the morning to help plan our day. Lastly Davindra a real gem who looked after us in the evening and sorted our our restaurant choices. He specially took time to talk to us and keep our glasses full during "happy hour". We will definitely return and ask for "Dav's villa.
""Jumeirah Stay Different ". it sure was! Imagine the old part of Venice in the desert for comparison."
The hotel comprises of Double Storey Villas in units of ten suites. The villas have a central Majlis/lounge with a bubbling fountain and Royal Palms reaching up into the sky of the courtyard. Complimentary pre dinner drinks are served from 17oohr to 19oohrs. The rooms are very well appointed and come with all the modern conveniences.A concierge is on duty to assist with all needs including booking a buggy or abra to take one to restaurants ,beach ,souk or another hotel. As we were enjoying all the superb dining we decided to attempt the 15 minute walk which was scenic and well sign posted. Four villas share a private swimming pool attended by a life guard and pool attendant and individual cooler boxes are provided offering chilled bottled water.Laptops are available for hire at Dhs500 per day including internet access. The villas offer in house dining or alternatively restaurants in the hotel or the many different restaurants at the beach or in the Madinat. A very nice touch was a well constructed complimentary beach bag gifted to the suite.
"As Always - A truly 'Stay Different' experience "
Myself, Wife and 3yr old son spent just over a week in Villa 7 in Dar Al Masyaf recently. We visit Dubai several times a year and usually stay at Dar Al Masyaf, and if not, certainly in Al Qasr. This is the first time to write a review on our stay and its long overdue! Every stay just seems to get better and better. The level of service and commitment to excellence is unsurpassable. The staff at every level can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing and stress free in every way. The Team Leader of our villa was Mr Arvind, who has looked after us on a few previous stays, deserves a special mention as his hospitality and attention to detail is truly of the highest level. His team of butlers were great, while being warm and attentive, maintained a position of unobtrusiveness allowing us to relax and unwind. Harris and Sudath also deserve a special thank you for looking after us as does the Housekeeping staff for maintaining such a high standard of room care. Thank you again to all the management and staff of this wonderful hotel and we look forward to being back in Dubai shortly and to staying in our 'Home from Home'!
"Beautiful stop-over on our way to Africa!"
Madinat Jumeirah was gorgeous and unlike any place we've stayed! We stopped here on our way to Zambia and just loved the friendly staff and the fabulous grounds. We only had three nights and despite it being over 100degrees, we were able to enjoy it due to the cooled down pool, and the lovely beach. There were many restaurants within the complex, which you get to via boats which float from one place to the next. A great stop in the Emerates. We will come back with our family!
