Staying there was magical... The resort is amazing, gorgeous, everywhere was clean, smelling good and the staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable... Definetly would stay there again. The private beach is a plus! What a place! What a view!
We stayed at the dar al masyaf villas for 2 nights, our stay was perfect! The rooms are very spacious and we had a nice view! At the villas we had a butler called Ritu, she was very nice a organized a lot for us, thank you! They offered between 6-8pm happy hours in the villa with champagne and we got a buggy and abra tour of the hotel. The hotelcomplex is huge so you never get bored! All the staff at the hotel are polite and very helpfull. We had an wonderfull stay and hope to come back soon!!
Returned for my7th stay at the DAM and as always had a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. We were looked after from the minute we arrived and shown to our villa. I can't speak highly enough of Surjan, our butler in Villa 5. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was exceptional. We are all very much looking forward to returning and seeing everyone once again in January and May.
"What can I say - Another Amazing Stay"
I recently stayed at the Dar-Al-Masyaf between 15th November 2016 and 20th November 2016. What can I say. It was wonderful and Dar-Al-Masyaf showed me that a revisit to the hotel can be better than the first time, even though I felt the first visit was amazing. From Arrival to Departure we were given the royal treatment. Firstly a big thank you to Pierre AlAndary, who had arranged for me and my mum to stay in the same room as I was in previously in May 2016 and also arranging for one of my previous butlers to serve us. Thank you Pierre, you made my mums day and touched her heart. Now what can I say about the room, it was amazing and so were the amenities. The most amazing part was having one of our previous butlers (Ashis) assigned to our room for the evening shift. This made the holiday very special. What can I say about Ashis, as no matter what I say it will never be enough. He fully looked after me and my mum and couldn't do enough. Anything I asked he made possible. He made our stay amazing. Whatever we asked he made sure he delivered. The trip was made so special for us by Ashis that we can not imagine staying anywhere else in Dubai other than here. Ashis really looked after me during the Happy Hour and knew what my favourite drink was and did not allow my glass to go empty, now thats what I call service, the best service ever. My mum liked a particular juice and fruits and Ashis ensured that she was supplied it. Thank you so much Ashis for making our holiday so so so special, you are the best and the hotel management should know you are the best. It made our day to see you when we came back from the beach. Love you Ashis. In the day we had a female butler and her name was Mylen. She was also very good and also looked after out every need. She delivered whatever we asked for and she gave a service with a big smile. Mylen was also very amazing. Now what can I say about the rest of the resort. I want to commend the following during the Holiday: Bhuwan (Khaymat Al Bahar) - This was one of the chefs at Khaymat Al Bahar, and he was very attentive. He recognised us from our previous holiday and came over to us straight away to serve us. He made me the most amazing Eggs Florentine. The best I have ever eaten in the world. He also remembered my Mums needs and gave her exactly what she wanted, how she wanted it. He also arranged for HoneyComb honey everyday for my mum as this is what she remembered from last time. He kept coming over to us at breakfast to make sure we had everything we need. He also made the best cup of Indian Spicy Tea for us, and I must say that I was stopping off after a trip from India, but Bhuwan's Tea was better that what had in India. Now thats saying something. Varun (Khaymat Al Bahar) - Varun was looking after the juice counter and he was also very attentive as we normally sat in that section for breakfast. He made the most amazing juices and also made some new concoctions for my mum which she thoroughly enjoyed. Kumar (Khaymat Al Bahar) - He was one of the supervisors and again he was very attentive, a very hard worker and he kept coming over to make sure we were happy and that our plates were regularly cleared. He made sure everyone in the restaurant looked after us Pradeep (Khaymat Al Bahar) - He made the most amazing eggs. He was the Egg Chef and nothing was impossible. His mixed spicy omelette was the best I had ever tasted and was a hit with me Andrew and Tate (Beach) - They were both very attentive and great customer service, They made sure we had a good spot to sun bathe in and also helped us sort our loungers out in the villa lawn and made sure we were comfortable and attended to Abdul Hafeel (Buggy Driver) - This buggy driver was very attentive and very helpful. Giving good advice and he specially stopped to take a picture outside the urn for me and my mum. He drove the buggy very carefully and treated my mum like his own. Which is rare in a foreign country. Aldar (Housekeeping Assistant Manager) - Aldar was extremely helpful throughout our stay checking regularly that we were comfortable and attending to all of our needs. And last but not least I can not forget: Rony Ibrahim (Aboretum Manager) - Rony was the Khaymat Al Bahar Manager when we visited last and remembered him fondly. Initially he was on leave and on his return he especially came to see us at breakfast. My mum and I was so happy to him. We went to Aboretum for a meal the same day and he prepared a special meal for me and mum. I asked for Shawarma and he arranged that for me too. Bearing in mind it is a buffet restaurant he gave us the special treatment. What was really touching was that his shift had finished but because we were looked for a meal he waited for us and ensured that we were served with special care before he left for the day. Thank you Tony, can't wait to see you again and thank you so much for my mums gift. In addition to all of these people, as Ashis and another previous butler Qasim were on the evening shift we were not able to get them both, however Qasim specially came to see us one evening which really touched our hearts. Overall as it can be seen the holiday was made special. The hotel is amazing and it is a city in its own right. You do not have to leave the resort. Lovely beach, great ambience and amazing people. This is like my home away from home and always will be Thank you Dar-Al-Masyaf for making mine and my mums trip the most amazing ever.
"My Second Home !!!!!"
I have been coming to this hotel at least 3 times a year for the past 11 years and never tire of it. The staff are friendly and nothing if ever to much trouble and they will go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Every visit is different with new hotels or restaurants opening up. I have tried many other 5* hotels in Dubai but always end up back at my second home !!!
