4 Star Metropol Design Hotel in Prague Old Town is located only minutes away from some Prague's greatest attractions and sights such as Old Town Square, The Astronomical Clock and Wenceslas Square. The location of this hotel near Prague Congress Centre is ideal for business travellers and for people attending events there.
Great location, good pricing, frienly staffComment of H. Stiina , Finland the 2016-09-29
Preis Leistung top!!!Comment of B. Linda , Germany the 2016-02-17
"Average and uninspiring"
Lets start with the good points- this hotel is well located for Central Prague with a great Tesco across the road. Now the not so good points- Sadly we were left feeling distinctly underwhelmed by the limp service of its staff. Its clear this is a high occupancy hotel but the team are devoid of emotion or warmth which was very disappointing This is at best an ok 3 star hotel, with an odd beige shag pile wall covering in the lobby (maybe a Czech thing..not sure..haha) The welcome was unenthusiastic and all thru-out our 3 nights there we felt the team were certainly a disgruntled bunch. After seeing some super enthusiastic reviews re the breakfast our expectations were high, however this was at best average made worse by the sullen unhelpful serving staff. There is definitely a lack of helpfulness and interest in its patrons and this was shown upon returning to the hotel after a night out (around 2am) when a member of our party wanted some milk to have a coffee in their room and was told Tesco was closed and the staff member didn't offer us any. However there were the odd members of staff who were helpful with requests we made for items such as ice, a kettle etc but these were only few. I will stress however this did not deter from our stay in this wonderful city, we would recommend Prague 1000 times over but maybe would be not so swift to recommend this property.
"Perfect location and great hotel for city break!"
Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a city break holiday and left really happy with our choice to stay here. The room was clean as was the hotel throughout, check in and out were very simple and easy and the included breakfast was perfect! For the price this hotel offers a lot for those looking to visit prague. If you are after a hotel that you expect to spend time in then this isn't for you as it doesn't boast a huge lot of things to do. Food wise is good and facilities are fine but it is only really perfect if you are going to be out and about in prague city for the most part. Only few things that I would mention is that the terrace wasn't made clear how to get to and even after searching we couldn't find it. It is not a hotel with a view by any means and breakfast can get pretty busy! I would suggest this as a place to stay though! Really central location made it super easy to plan our days. Comfy, clean, good breakfast! No problems!
"Great central hotel"
Great central hotel. Big comfortable bed, great bathroom and powerful shower, very clean room and lots of choices, cooked food, omelettes on request, fruit, cereals, delicious Czech breads and pastries for breakfast. Will definitely book again!
The hotel is comfortable, practical and well situated. The hotel itself is very impressive yet the rooms are basic in design and arrangement. The staff are competent but could be more welcoming and engaging. Breakfast has a good selection of foods and the kitchen staff happily accommodate requests. An above average accommodation for a European capital hotel.
Very nice, clean, comfortable. The staff is polite, always well willing to help out. Breakfast is gorgeous. The hotel is near storic downtown that can be reached in 5 minutes walk. If we will go back to Praga I will book again here.
