"Clean and close to the station."
The Rooms were quirky, Clean and comfortabele. No View but was only staying for one might so for me it didnt bother me at all. Good value for money as I got 2 return Train ticket and the hotel room and breakfast for € 109.
"Review of stay 18/19th Oct 2016"
As always, guys at reception give you great warm welcome......very busy place, we had not booked dinner for 5 but staff worked round and were able to provide table at time we required. All staff friendly and helpful - two small issues, staff kept busy with all the customers, at times you need to wait for a drink in bar, the other was that I was shocked that when I showered and opened up towel, there was a hole in towel and it was well worn......don't expect that at a hotel.....but as I said small things, overall good hotel.
"An even more delightful stay"
Just 4 months after staying here, we returned last week and enjoyed our stay even more than we did the first time. We were given a much larger room with a king size bed and spacious bathroom. Although street-facing the room was quiet and the curtains provided enough cover to keep the room as dark as we wished. The room decor was quirky, especially with the huge painted oriental face on the ceiling. Maybe not to everyone's taste but we thought it was fun. Service was pleasant and efficient and the staff were always willing to help with our queries, e.g. directions, train schedules. Full compliments to them!
"UNCOMFORTABLE DARK ROOMS"
We found a dark and red uncomfortable room with a duvet on the bed. As in that period the weather was warm ( it was 21- 23 degree) and was impossible to sleep with a duvet, I asked a normal linen. The employee at the reception said that even during the summer they provide only the duvets!! Too expensive for this kind of service.
"Perfect location, mediocre beds, expensive breakfast"
The designhotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood between the train station and the city center. Rooms are pretty expensive, especially during the weekends, but the beds aren't very comfortable. Very lousy pillows and the mattress was too firm. Our room was not very wide, but pretty long (3x9 meters), the bed was next to the door, behind the bed was the open bathroom, then a very tiny desk and only one chair. There was no place to sit, except on the bed. We found that strange in a room of 165 euros per night. Breakfast is also expensive; 19,50€ per person. And with so many nice places around, we advice you to go out for breakfast and choose exactly what you like.
