This hotel used to be the Burlington Hotel. Our visit was perfect from start to finish. the lobby is large and an excellent area to sit and have a coffee. the room was lovely and bed was enormous everything you need in a hotel.
Stayed for 3 nights as part of a corporate function. Had booked the night prior (as I was arriving on early flight cross-continental), however, this wasn't recognised at reception and it took a few goes to secure a room. Had an accessibility room - which wasn't too bad except for the shower facilities, which had no pressure at all. Repeated calls on this didn't fix the issue. Bed and rooms decent sized and quality of sleep was decent. Hotel gym was quite good - cable station, rowing machine - and a decent size. Breakfast was underwhelming, poor coffee. Other food throughout the stay wasn't too bad. Meeting room facilities were quite good - good food for the breaks. Location isn't the greatest, it's a bit of a hike to central Dublin and you really need to get a cab to get around. Won't be my first choice if I'm back in the area.
"Very little sleep!!"
Hotel was ideally located for walking into town. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed for two nights..fri,sat. The Friday night when we returned to the hotel around 11:30 pm there was obviously a party/function going on!!! We were not told about this when we checked in. It went on til 1:30am. Saturday night it was the same...again we were not told. At 1:00am I called reception to ask how much longer it was going to be impossible to sleep.!! I was told it would be 2:30am. When I told reception I had to get up at 6:30 for my flight home...I was told it was a wedding/conference hotel and did I want earplugs.!!! Why weren't we told when booking the hotel of the possibility for the late night/early morning functions''' Profit before customer again.!!!! Will not be returning...and stress to anyone thinking of staying to check what on before booking.
"Lovely hotel, great stay"
A great stay recently for 4 nights in the Clayton Burlington Road. It's well maintained, what I'd call great quality, hotel. From reception to the bar, room to the breakfast everything was nice, good quality. The food from lunch, dinner and snacks were really nice. The room was nicely decorated and had a modern feel. Staff were pleasant to interact with and secure parking was an added bonus so close to the city centre. Recommended and will be back
"Beautiful night but the table water was dreadful"
Attended a corporate function here and I must say, the place sparkled from the moment you entered the spacious reception area. We were immediately greeted at the door and shown to the welcome area, where I enjoyed some lovely sparkling water. As I was attending a corporate function, I expected proceedings to run a tad behind schedule, but this certainly didn't dampen any spirits. When we were finally called for the dinner, the 700 or so guest poured themselves into the large dinning room and took their seats. I poured water that was left on the table and I have to say, it was terrible. Very surprised at this, given the area the hotel was in. As I'm not a local one of my colleagues explained this would be normal for this area and that's why most locals buy bottled water!!!#!. Anyway, asked the waitress to change the water, which she politely did and offered to get me bottled water from the bar. Despite the water, the entire evening was wonderful. The food was outstanding. Given there was about 700 guests at this function, full compliments to the chef and the their team. The deserts were out of this world and everything seemed to go like clockwork. The floor staff wete discreet and super efficient. Getting a taxi after the event was easy as their was lots of taxis outside when we were leaving. Overall a wonderful night in a beautiful hotel.
