"A very good hotel for London Trip"
We have spent 4 days in London, just sightseeing. The choice of the hotel was a very good decision - it is perfectly located. It was just 10-minute walk to Natural History, Science, Victora & Albert Museums. An Underground station with a very good communication with other parts of London was very close. Lots of fine bars and restaurants nearby. The Hotel itself is very good. The room was big and clean with very comfortable beds. There are European electricity sockets. The staff is extremely nice and ready to help. Breakfast are good and tasty although extending the menu would be useful. I strongly recommend the hotel.
"Nice hotel, great location"
The prices can be reasonable if you catch a booking sale or book off season. The hotel is clean, safe and a great base for your exploration of London. My pre-teen daughter and I stayed here and found it comfortable and safe.
"Awful hotel - avoid this one and stay someone else"
The reception staff are rude and on the verge of aggressive. The rooms are ok but mnassively over priced. There are plenty of far better options nearby. The food in the restaurant is of average quality but much better to try a local restaurant where better service and options are available.
This hotel is in a great location and managed by great staff. The rooms are of a reasonable size for London, are modern and well decorated. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the Doubletree brand especially this one in South Kensington.
"Great for business travel! Nice location, small rooms!"
Lovely hotel, with some friendly staff at check in. Room service is very slow. Its perfect for business travel, as connectivity is great. The room amenities seem a bit out of date, particularly the heating/cooling systems. They can also be quite noisy. The breakfast was below average. Very limited in choice.
