"One Night Stay For Show!!!"
Stopped at this hotel for one night when came see the new meatloaf show at the opera house. Good things bout hotel: 1. It's good for Piccadilly train station when you can trains to: A. London Euston B. Glasgow Central & Edinburgh C. Carlisle D. Birmingham E. Liverpool F. Llandudno G. Crewe H. Blackpool I. Dewsbury J. Huddersfield K. Leeds L. York M. Scarborough N. Northallerton O. Middlesbrough P. Durham Q. Newcastle-Upon-Tyne R. Hull S. Bournemouth T. Readin U. Carmarthen V. Rose Hill Marple W. Crewe & Stock-On-Trent 2. The hotel is clean 3. Staff are friendly 4. In the centre of Piccadilly 5. Good for trams 6. Get a cookie as you check in and out Bad Things: 1. Up on check out if pay in advance on visa debit the Hilton chain holds a double payment and voids the cards which is bad if you need that money else where 2. It took 3 days for the second payment to come back But overall this hotel is good It's the chains fault not hotel themselves. Enjoy your stay!!! 😊
This hotel is right next to train station so it's great for those 1 day excursions to Manchester. Always so welcoming and has a separate floor for Hilton honours members. Great little bar for refreshments before heading out. Ample selection of bar snacks and little dinner menu. Rooms are standard but clean, comfortable and warm. On this occasion was disappointed with room service but after chasing it up got informed that it would be complimentary. So apologetic also. A hotel I would quite happily use every time I visit Manchester.
Really nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. Queuing for breakfast in a long queue on the Sunday morning was disappointing. Overall a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.
"Clean and Comfortable"
The room was a good size, nice big bed and very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, lovely shower and spotlessly clean. The hotel is in a good position and although there was no parking available, there is a good discount with an NCP, which is only a short walk away.
I know this sounds strange but this hotel is dated and jaded. Bits of furniture was missing in my room service at dinner was really slow and mixed up and a guest meeting me at breakfast was almost hounded like a shop lifter in case he didn't pay. It's not made a great impression on me. I usually use Crowne Plaza I will in future.
