"Solid overnight stay"
Great staff from check in to check out. And a very very good cookie!!! The rooms are smallish but clean with ok amenities in the bathrooms. Good for either a short business trip or an overnight stay. Restaurant has a good happy hour and breakfast but pricy for a hotel of this chain. Have a mentioned the cookies' Free and delicious!!! Good spot with easy parking a terrific staff! I'd go again.
"Great hotel sloppy breakfast "
A very pleasant, fresh and clean hotel. I was upgraded to suite with a great view over the pool which looked very inviting even though I didn't use it. The hotel let itself down with breakfast. Reception told me that service started at 6am and I arrived promptly because I had an early meeting to go to. They were only just setting things out and the service staff were not very helpful I struggled to get a drink and paying was also a struggle. If breakfast starts at 6am then they should be ready at 6am, if it starts later then they should not tell guests it starts then. Grumble over.
"Home away from home"
We've stayed here on average of twice a month for the last nine months and everyone treats us like gold. At breakfast, Fernando and Vidalia (I think that's her name), always bring us our drinks without us even asking. At dinner, Tara and Claudia never let us go thirsty. It's like being at the Cheers bar. Even the desk clerks remember us. We've stayed at other Hilton brands around this same area when this hotel has been booked but we all agree that we like staying here better. It's like our home away from home.
"Great Location for a Holiday"
Often hotels are all about location, and this one has it in droves. It is about 20-25 minutes from just about anywhere you'd want to go in the San Diego area for a family vacation: Legoland, Carlsbad Outlets, Torrey Pines beaches, restaurants on the Del Mar waterfront, downtown San Diego, La Jolla, the Zoo, even the las Americas outlets at the border! Great access to fine dining in the nearby high end neighbourhoods without having to go all the way downtown. Breakfast was classic Hilton quality and daily variety. But the pool is the star. A huge outdoor pool with hot tub and wading pool. Too bad it was December, and too bad it's right by the interstate. The rooms were quiet though the hotel was busy - we enjoyed our stay. Feedback: other hotels in business parks sometimes don't bother charging for weekend parking.
"Adrenaline Lacrosse Showcase"
As a hotel for all the families, lacrosse coaches and players to be centralized for a long sports weekend sounds it was almost ideal. It really was. It felt safe, it was very attractive and the hotel staff worked hard to take good care of us all. I think they might underestimated the damage a pack of teenage boys and their parents and siblings can inflict on a hotel but we think it was the wedding party that did the most damage.
