"Excellent hotel with excellent facilities"
This is an amazing 5-stars boutique hotel in Chiangmai, located off the night market street. Anusarn Market, Le-Meriden Hotel, Mcdonalds, Burger King and various massage centres are nearby. It is a bustling place outside the hotel. You will receive a welcome Lemongrass drink. Customer service is consistently very good including the online contact. It has a gym (D-FIT), swimming pool and a spa besides the Moxxie bar downstairs. It also has meeting rooms. The rooms are spacious and comes with free Wifi. I stayed in a room with 2 sin Wardrobe, safe deposit box, toilettries, multiple adapter points, hair dryer, iron with ironing board are provided. There is a Bible too that we can read for both Christians and non-Christians. Next to each bed is reading lights. The centralised air cond is cold enough. There is a flat screen tv with both local Thai and international channels including BBC, Al-Jazeera, AXN, Fox Movies Premium and Boomerang. I think it is Fox if not mistaken. Moxie is the restaurant downstairs that provides excellent Continental and Asian breakfast selections. There are noodles, fried rice, bacon, chicken sausages, pork sausages, egg station, pau, juices, smoothies, youghurt, breads Was out for lunch and dinner so I only tried ate there for breakfast. It is very spacious at the lobby and you can rest downstairs at the sofa sets. Overall, i am very impressed. Had a excellent 3 days and 2 nights stay at Dusit D2 Chiangmai. Highly recommended and I will give this a 100%.
"Close to Everything! "
Stayed here on our honeymoon over the new year, wow was it amazing! The hotel is walking distance to EVERYTHING! The night bazaar, old Chaing Mai, everything! Plus you can cab it for cheap anywhere you need to go outside of city limits. The pool and spa were cute, the spa was a little pricy but worth it if you're traveling.
"Lovely hotel, great location, great breakfast"
We stayed here for 3 nights as we wanted somewhere central. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were friendly. There is an outdoor pool on the second floor (I think) and also a massage center / spa. The room was clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable and the television had a good variety of international channels. The bathroom was modern and quirky. We had their buffet breakfast twice which was included in the price of the room and it was excellent. We had an early morning flight on the last day which meant we couldn't have breakfast, so the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast boxes with cold items for us to have on our way to the airport which I thought was a lovely touch. The hotel is located right opposite the Night Bazar and various other markets which are excellent for shopping, eating and nightlife. There is lots going on! It is also only a short taxi trip from the airport. I would certainly stay here again when in Chiang Mai.
"Similar to the loft or W"
Overall: The hotel was picked because it was very close to another location we had been staying at. Everything was clean and bright. I gave it an average because nothing wowed me. I would stay here again though. Service: We were greeted before we even made it to the door and the doormen came running to get our bags. Once we got to the checkin desk we were brought fresh iced lemongrass tea, it was a nice touch. Lobby: The lobby was medium sized and included the bar and restaurant. The appearance was bright and clean even though it had been raining. Location: The location was good as we switched hotels half way through our stay and this one was a block from the other one. The location was next to the night bazar and just outside of the old city walls. Room: The room was average. The king size bed was ok, the small tv was mounted to the wall and the minibar was sparsely stocked. The one standout in the room was the glass shower that opened to the room, it was interesting and offered no privacy, we were okay with it but in other situations it could have gotten awkward since the blinds to cover the shower were in the outside of the bathroom. Dining: They had a good sized restaurant and a bar in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was 300THB pp if you paid at checkin or 650THB pp if you paid at breakfast. We stayed on Saturday night so they had a large seafood buffet on Sunday morning. Amenities: I believe they have a pool and spa but we didn't use either. Misc
My husband and I arrived at the hotel to find out we were upgraded. The room was excellent and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and the hotel provided snacks 24/7 and drinks. The location of the hotel is within minutes of the night market which is great for night strolls. Overall great hotel definitely recommend it
