Design hotel' Yes - Art Deco all over and very balanced. Funky! Some of the best sushi for dinner ever tried. Rooms with very original design and funny solutions. Close to Reeperbahn, cosy bars and 15 min walk to center of Hamburg. For summer residents their garden yard must be popular.
"Stylish and fun"
Very unusual and stylish hotel just off the Reeperbahn... Gaudi meets Star Trek! Great lighting and music, superb breakfasts, comfortable rooms. The hotel becomes a club after dark, which adds to the atmosphere. Only one negative point... rooms are very dark, not good for reading.
Great ocation, rooms, Amazing huge Restauant and bar, different areas in the Bar and restaurant, indoors, outdoors, Balconies, perfect music, perfect place to hang out with friends, clients or romantic. Make sure you make a reservation if going to the restaurant or arrive early
"X-mas dinner "
As usually the reception was very friendly and helped us with our winter jackets. According to the fact that we had a reservation the table was already prepared. We enjoyed a friendly, partly slowly, service and were served three perfect courses. Unfortunately it wasn't sushi and steak but therefore a very good tasting duck breast.
"Just what We were looking for!!!"
Being my first time in Hamburg I wanted a reasonably priced boutique hotel for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend and the east exceeded our expectations. Located in one of the "hipster" areas of town there are plenty of unique shops, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. I booked online and when I called to double check the booking the service was top notch and friendly. We were provided with room and upgrade options. We arrived around 10am and even though our room was not ready we were provided access to their spa to freshen up. After a sauna, dip in the indoor pool, a shower and complimentary cup of tea, we were ready to explore the city! The lobby is part of their bar/restaurant. A modern design covered in Halloween decoration! It's obvious the locals come here for after work drinks and then some! The bar overlooks the main dinning area used for lavish buffet breakfasts, lunch and dinner and then turns into a club in special occasions! The raw red brick columns are what's left of this covered warehouse space. We were invited to their Halloween ball which was a blast! Our room was a premium (mid size) in the 3 floor of their adjacent building, just what we wanted far away from the noise and hotel parties! It felt large (30sqm) with a design bed in the middle room. The sink and bathroom area (sink, counter, massive bathtub) are also in the room. There was a large flat screen TV and a Bluetooth Bose speaker. The far wall had several large windows giving the room freshness and space. There is a small working desk space behind the headboard of the bed. Overall we had an amazing weekend in this thriving and cultural city. I highly recommend the hotel and will be back in the future.
