"Recommendable airport hotel"
Good service all over the hotel. No problem leaving luggage there while travelling around Vietnam. We also had our laundry done while we were travelling around and had it delivered to our room during our next stay. Very convenient hotel when you need a room in between flights. Rooms and bathrooms are well equipped and clean. Breakfast had a great choice of everything you could think of. We used the gym and found it good, and we were also satisfied with the massage at the spa. We had dinner in the Chinese restaurant twice, and found the food excellent, and the waiters helpful and professional. I see that the hotel is rated 5 stars, but I found both the rates and standard more like a good 4 stars hotel. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not the right choice. But if you need a good quality hotel near the airport, this is the best choice.
"Convenient location for the airport"
Its is a very nice hotel indeed, however I have stayed in a few 4 star hotels that are just as good. It is a bit expensive for what you get i think. The breakfast selection is very good. Staff are very nice and helpful. I would stay here again because it is probably the best hotel in the area overall. We stayed at another hotel a bit closer to the airport and we wished we would of just stayed at the Eastin Grand again. Would definetly go back again if we wanted to stay near the airport. We loved the staff, the breakfast/restaurant and the location.
"5 night stay"
This was our last hotel on a 4 week holiday in Vietnam. The room We stayed in a double deluxe room on the 7th floor. It was a nice large room with usual equipment, tv, with a good few English speaking channels, kettle, fridge, safe. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. There was lots of storage space in the wardrobes and chest of drawers. The bed was so comfy with a nice duvet on it . The room was nice and quiet at night, we got a really good sleep every night. The pool The pool was good it had 12 sun loungers around the pool, they were good loungers with padded cushions. The pool gets the sun all day long. The gym It was a good gym with plenty of equipment 3x treadmills, 1x cross trainer, 1x leg extension machine, 1x bench press machine, 1x shoulder press machine, 1x abdominal crunch machine, and the dumb bells range from 2kg to 26kg. Breakfast The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in our 4 weeks in Vietnam, you name it they had it. Various types of eggs, various types of sausages, fruit, yogurt, salad, cold meats, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, pastries. Various types of tea and coffee. It really was a good spread at breakfast. Overall This is a lovely hotel with very good staff, in a okay location. Some people have commented that it is far out the city but outside the hotel is a bus stop. You can get the number 04 or 152 which brings you all the way in to the city in 20 minutes and only costs VND5,000 each. And you can also get the same buses back out of the city and the bus stop is on the other side of the room opposite the hotel. VND10,000 per person to get in and out of the city why would you waste money on a cab' All in all this is a very good hotel we would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Located 15 min from the airport"
Not the best Eastin we stayed in ( compare to Bangkok and Phuket) but only 15 min from the airport. This is a former Movenpick hotel, therefore the rooms and facilities are not new but still reasonable standards. Hotel located 20 min from the city centre but they have several shuttles per day free of charge which was really useful. Breakfast is average with enough choice, the Asian side a bit limited but ok. There is a swimming pool which can be used for private functions therefore not available for guests ( it happened twice during our stay). Overall we had a nice stay in this hotel.
"Good value, handy for airport"
We stayed 2 nights as the first stop on our trip through Vietnam. The hotel is conveniently situated for the airport and train station in Saigon, but in both cases a taxi or car ride still needed to transfer. The hotel is well outside the centre and while there is a shuttle bus offered it is infrequent and in most cases you will need to 100k-120k VND for a 30 min taxi ride to get to any of the tourist sites. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is ok with a wide choice but middling quality.
