Founded in 1890, the beautiful 4 star Eden Wolff Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Munich. This plush accommodation has 214 rooms and suits which are elegantly designed, with a hint of classic Bavaria.
Munich has something for everybody. For those who enjoy the theatre and the opera, Munich is a renowned destination for culture and arts. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and sports destinations too.
The Eden Wolff Hotel enjoys a central location within Munich, opposite the central station which means exploring the city couldn’t be easier. The Karlplatz and Stachus are within walking distance from the hotel, and from there you have access to the most important sights of historical Munich.
Great hotel and location. No noise could be heard from train station.Comment of G. Michael G, Germany the 2016-04-04
"Mediocrity under any other name..."
Look - the good news is, you are across the street from the big train station and one of the transportation centers of Germany. The bad news is...you get the point. I find this to be an uncomfortable version of midrange Europe. Indifferent service. European minimalist bathrooms. HORRIBLE internet service (I was not alone on this complaint). This place will never lose business, however - it is too convenient. Yeah, and so is McDonald's. I did think the cleaning staff was very nice.
"Nice mid-range hotel"
Spent a few days while in town for a convention. Very close to the train station and numerous restaurants and stores. Nicely decorated rooms. Efficient service and a very nice breakfast. Close to historic inner cirlce of Munich.
"Only for convenience"
This hotel was good for convenience to the railway station, but other than that, has not much to offer. Can echo other comments re hotel reception staff being disinterested, bordering on rude. We had specifically requested a quiet room away from the street overlooking the station only to find that was where we were allocated. I decided to object and was given another room. This was much quieter. Positives: Convenience. Open fire in bar which was welcome on a very cold evening. Quiet room if at the back of the hotel away from the front street. Negatives: No tea/coffee availability in room. Hallways had distinct smell of smoke. Disinterested staff. Expensive for what you get.
Just arrived in Munich late and hungry, wanted to avoid fast food and found this hotel restaurant just opposite central station that served great traditional German food - I had a great meal and such friendly service - happy for me to recharge Apple, and gave me directions to Ramada.
Clean and tidy hotel located across the road from the main train station in Munich. The hotel has been renovated to try and make it more modern, its almost worked. We stayed here one night before catching the train to the airport, the location is super convenient for travelling anywhere in Munich. Would recommend staying for its location, but would consider staying elsewhere closer to the old town if we were staying more than 2 nights.
