Founded in 1890, the beautiful 4 star Eden Wolff Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Munich. This plush accommodation has 214 rooms and suits which are elegantly designed, with a hint of classic Bavaria.
Munich has something for everybody. For those who enjoy the theatre and the opera, Munich is a renowned destination for culture and arts. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and sports destinations too.
The Eden Wolff Hotel enjoys a central location within Munich, opposite the central station which means exploring the city couldn’t be easier. The Karlplatz and Stachus are within walking distance from the hotel, and from there you have access to the most important sights of historical Munich.
Great hotel and location. No noise could be heard from train station.Comment of G. Michael G, Germany the 2016-04-04
"A great hotel"
Super service, good Roms, Car Parking super service and we Will be back at this hotel next time we are going to Munich. Close to the train station, close to Marienplatz and All other things. We Will be back.
When we planed our trip to Europe we did not realize we would be in Munich during Oktoberfest. Room rates are extremely high during Oktoberfest. We wanted a hotel that was centrally located, affordable and of some quality. The Eden Wolff met the criteria. The hotel is immediately across from the main train station which was perfect since we did not have a car. The room looked like it had been recently updated and was quite comfortable. Despite being immediately across from the train station and being totally booked for Oktoberfest, I never noticed any noise from the street or the other guest. Our room was on the second floor facing the station. The motorized shutters do a great job blacking out the light and noise. This was the only hotel in our three weeks in Europe that provided washcloths. It is weird how much you can appreciate the little things while traveling. As some have mentioned the breakfast in the hotel is expensive but there are plenty of other choices nearby. They do offer a complementary coffee service in the morning in the lobby for guests.
"Excellent stay and location"
I had a great stay in this hotel, room was clean, everything worked, and the location is excellent as you have the main train station across the street and it is within walking distance of the old city and its sites
"Favorite Hotel on our trip"
I couldn't have been happier when we arrived at the Munich Hauptbahnhof to find the hotel right across the street! We were greeted warmly and able to leave our luggage until our room was ready. I believe it would have been ready ahead of the scheduled check in time, but we wanted to go explore immediately. They tagged all our bags and gave us a receipt which I really appreciated. Once returning the porter brought up our luggage as we took the very quick elevator to the 6th floor. Our room faced the main street and the train station. I loved it! I enjoy the noises outside and seeing folks come an go. You could see the Lufthansa shuttle bus right across the street too and we strongly considered using it for our trip to the airport when leaving, but decided on the regular metro as it was just as easy. Our room was more than comfortable and lovely. We had the bed, a couch, nice desk, TV and cabinet with safe, mini frig (and mini bar). The bathroom was really large with a full tub/shower, bidet and toilet and dressing table area. My favorite sink on the trip as it was large and didn't end up splashing water all over you while using it. You could open windows in the bathroom and bedroom area which was nice as it was warm in the room - ran the AC for a short time to cool it down. It was unusually warm while we were there in mid October. It was about a 10-15 minute easy walk to the center of Old town Munich, which was ideal. Really, you can't go wrong choosing this hotel.
We stayed here in October for two nights before our River cruise. Convenient location across the street from the train station. Even the first train platform turned out to be the train to Passau which was the one we needed! Great, because my mom has trouble walking. Also, it's only about a block from the hop on hop off bus. There is also a huge department store with a big market in the basement that is handy if you forgot anything..(or if your luggage has been lost like in our case..had to buy a jacket) umbrella, scarves, and beauty stuff. The food market is fun to browse too with tons of local goods, chocolates and you name it! The hotel had a nice small lobby and very helpful people working the front desk and concierge. We talked with them a lot because the airlines lost our luggage for almost two days so we were constantly checking with them to seen if it had been delivered. We got the package that included breakfast. It was such a nice selection of good food. Scrambled eggs and bacon, sausage and fruit and the cold cuts and cheeses and pastries. We are at the restaurant too which was pretty nice too. My only complaint was that our room wasn't very cute compared to the pictures on the website. Very plain. However it was very clean and comfortable which is what was most important right' Oh and super zippy elevator too!
