"Lovely relaxing break"
We stayed for 4 nights, enjoyed the pool each evening, the staff there were very helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast, which didn't finish too early in the mornings. Good location, for getting into the city, and to the airport. It's a pity that there is no wifi in the rooms.
"Avoid here, you have many good options in the city "
酒店为了不给白金卡升级套房狂撒谎。餐厅因为接待团队就让散客干等半个小时。房间还好但是冷。酒店位置非常差。不推荐。 Staffs lied a lot to avoid upgrading for Platinum member. Restaurant kept us waiting for 30 minutes because they have groups to serve. The room is fair but cold. The location is super bad. I do not recommend this property.
I stayed at the hotel for 8 days at the end of January. My husband was in Edinburgh on business and I went to visit and see the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Our stay at the Marriott went beyond my expectations. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, morning breakfast was abundant and delicious. However, what is really special about this hotel is their staff. All were professional, courteous, and attentive to all of my needs. My husband had mentioned how much he enjoyed staying at the hotel because of the staff. I agree 100 percent. All staff members, from the front desk members to the cleaning staff, they make you feel welcomed and they make an effort to get to know you. Special thanks to George(from Greece),and Eva(from Poland), both worked the bar area. Also, manager Angelo(not sure about name but, also from Greece), Stephen (concierge), and the sweet red headed hostess that greeted me every morning for breakfast. Highly recommend the Edinburgh Marriott!!
Another lovely night, in one of our favourite hotels. This was my forth time at the hotel and it was just as clean and welcoming as each time before. The hotel is an ideal location for an over night stop before the airport and is well accessed by public transport also. The room itself was clean and and tidy, offering a large comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom and complimentary tea and coffee. The food at the hotel is reasonably priced and very tasty. The menu has a variety of breakfast food for you to choose from, cooked and continental, room service can be utilised for a £4 tray charge. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, boasting a gym, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and sauna, along with your bar which serves Starbucks coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, wanting to stay just outside the main hustle of the town, anyone visiting the zoo, or anyone wanting an airport link. I know I'll be back soon for sure!
"Mrs baxendale "
Unclean . Patronising to my disabled children, burnt breakfast to my children, staff walking in when getting changed. Kept awake all night as heating was not working in our bedroom. Not a nice place to stay , will not be back
