"A city centre experience"
This is a super hotel situated in the heart of Seville and as the name suggests next to the Cathedral. We had a room overlooking the cathedral and it was absolute magic. Sitting on your own terrace in beautiful sunshine listening to the cathedral bells in the morning eating your delivered breakfast (free of charge!!). The hotel is super modern yet quaint. The roof top restaurant and bar are just magical and to drink and eat as the sun goes down overlooking the cathedral is an experience I will not forget - few hotels I have stayed at are this enchanting
"Nothing special "
During our holiday we had three City Trips. One of them to Sevilla. The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are dark and the Pool on the terrace ( which is only for hotel guests ) is a Joke. On the roof terrace it was so noisy you couldn't sleep until the Bar closed. We had to change the room for one night. The staff at the terrace is young and arrogant. No really friendly Service at all and completely overpriced. When we checked out early which we announced one day before a coffee and no Snack were prepared. It took a while to get a coffee with milk. The Hotel is far away from five Stars. We can recommend this hotel to young persons who stay awake all night and don't have any expectations.
"Absolutely the best location in Seville"
I'm giving this a solid 4 stars, primarily based on location, friendliness of staff, and the fact that they upgraded us to a suite w/outdoor hot tub (although the heater did not appear to work). The views from the veranda were absolutely amazing - worth spending extra to get the outdoor space (very private). Noise (people, traffic, and bells) is a bit of an issue, but I brought ear plugs and used a white noise generator on my iPhone, so it wasn't a problem. The common areas of the hotel are very trendy with a cool vibe. I would caution anyone with mobility issues about staying at this property - also, not really a place for young kids. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and they allow you to order eggs cooked to order. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was decent (although the pizza looked amazing). I was a little disappointed in the rooftop bar given all the hype. It does have a great view of the Cathedral, but so did my room. It's small, expensive, and crowded. It's one of those "must dos" while in Seville, but I would recommend on planning to have one drink, then go somewhere else. I loved the city of Seville and would like to go back. I would stay at the EME again, but only if I got the same (or similar) room.
"Good hotel in great locatoon"
We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. We thought it was very good and would recommend it. A summary of our thoughts is below: - fantastic location, directly across from the Cathedral & Alcazar in the historic centre - the corner that the hotel is on has a number of restaurants and bars, plus any others you would want to go to are a short walk away - the rooftop bar has great views of the cathedral and city, though it's very hot until about 6-7pm - the pool is relatively small and almost more like a plunge pool, but that's normal for Seville - it's also realllly hot once you get out as there's no shade nearby - breakfast was good - staff were friendly and helpful The only other thing I would say is that although we liked our stay, we would probably say this hotel is closer to a 4 star than a 5 star based on our hotel experiences - you are paying for the location. That's not to say it's bad, it's just it may not be what you expect if you're after a truly lux 5 star hotel - it's trying to be more on trend and at times can feel more like a nightclub.
"Amazing service "
The hotel Manager Mr. Carlos made our stay very very special. Although some small details I didn't like but after his services I was fully satisfied. Room was really big "top floor room thats why." Other rooms are smaller. But the down for this room is wi-fi is very weak + disturbed by the pool and bar customers until 1 am. So if you don't mind that boon this room because it feels like a suit size. Had a terrace and a jacuzzi !!!! Hotel location is the best in Sevilla. 15 meters only. I loved the city and the hotel regardless of any other thing else. Thank again to the great manager Carlos. He is really one of the best hosts. Sorry no pic of the room#321
